Ram is the LEAST important for Minecraft? I've heard some crazy things before but that tops them all. XD
RAM's frequency (how much data can be transferred at a time) and latency (how quickly the RAM responds to requests) matters alot. If you have high frequency and high latency it should be good.
The amount of RAM is also important. Reserving a good chunk of RAM is also necessary for the OS to work, as Ri5ux stated above. The more RAM you have allocated to Minecraft, the more data it can hold in RAM and easily access it quickly, such as chunks. This is why RAM is so important for a game like Minecraft, because Minecraft renders/generates as you move. So, the less RAM you have, the more of a delay there will be when rendering new chunks (lag spikes).
I'm not exactly sure that's how that works, but I think I'm close.
Ri5ux knows a lot more than me I'm sure of that, so ask him questions.
My response to those threads you posted, is one word: VSync. (Plus they didn't do a good job posting screenshots...)
Currently on the official AliensVsPredator beta server with some other players. Come join us! IP Address for the Minecraft server available in the image!
If you ran gradlew setupDecompWorkspace, you should have forgeSrc:<ForgeVersion> as a referenced library and be able to browse the source of its classes.
Entity#moveEntity is called when the Entity moves. If you override this, the Entity's position should be updated to the new position after you call the super method.
I did do gradlew setupDecompWorkspace, but what I'm saying is, is there anyway to use a search function to find something within all those packages? It's a lot of code to look through. XD
Hmm. I don't see how that can be used but I'll try that.
In what specific way should it concern me? I know that mod licenses are all pointless, but the noobs that copy-paste my code don't know that. We as modders have no legal rights with our mods, and I've enforced those words several times to several other modders.
Ah. Well no need for hostility. And I see what you mean

Hmmm first a question. What version of Minecraft do you have?

Hmmm intriguing. Any spots for a programmer/texturer?

I'm interested in applying as a programmer for this mod. I have a mod I made in my signature, my work will tell you all you need to know.
EDIT: I can also texture. I'm very good at shading, making items pop out using "lighting".

I sure hope this mod hasn't died... would be a real shame.

So my goal is to make a certain mob die when not on a certain block, so for example:
This mob walks off the block I want it to stay on, onto another block, and dies instantly.
However I can not find this certain method. Can anyone tell me where it is?
Better yet, how to search through packages and classes on Eclipse?
Thanks!

Eh it's not a bad thing. You've certainly earned the right to be so, probs from all the people who ask dumb questions over and over and over.

Ah cool. Sounds good!
My friend wanted me to see this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/mods-discussion/1408743-to-mod-creators-copyrights-and-malicious-code?page=28
Thought it might concern you too.

Ri5ux! Been awhile since I have visited this thread. Since then I have released a mod of my own. How have things on the mod been going?

Yeah I know thanks to jabelar. Thanks guys!

I got it! Thanks!

ah gotcha. I figured it would be in the Model class. But my EntityLarva class extends entity mob. That might be a problem right?
