Currently logs sell for 4 BP each. (Unless that price was reduced, which I haven't checked in a while but it should still be the same). What I meant was reducing that figure down to 1 BP per log (as you suggested, since cobblestone sells for 1 BP each) would then require prisoners to mine/chop 15,000 blocks of wood to rank up to B, not including voter money/money from other sources. Since trees take logs take longer to break than cobblestone this would not work. Plus, I see the Stone Quarry as necessary as well - the ideal way to rank up out of C, in my opinion, would be to use the mine and gather coal/iron from it so that you can then craft iron axes, which would provide the quickest means possible (available to a C-Prisoner ordinarily) of cutting trees.
And apologies for not quoting, I haven't 100% figured out the forum's posting system since I haven't really used it in a while.
Log prices should not be reduced. That would only serve to further hinder prisoners' rank progression. As it is, ranking up to B from C is time-consuming, even with getting a free 3,000 BP per day by voting. Making logs cost the same as cobblestone would discourage Cs. After all, that would be 15,000 logs that they would have to chop in the Tree Farm (or mine if it becomes its own mine).
I can honestly, without a doubt, say that I never thought this day would come so soon. Noakii, you have been one of the single greatest Wardens Convicted has ever had by far. I am saddened by your departure, but I also know that it's for the best for you because you believe it to be so. There will never truly be another like you, Noakii. Why you deserve to be unbanned: I was not using X-ray, I was only using an X-ray texture pack so I could see places that have already been searched by other players. (They would show up as caves) When I found diamonds in two different locations near the ladders Yoda must have assumed that I was cheating.
You may not know this, but the x-ray texture pack is illegal along with the mod. So essentially yes, you were using x-ray.
Not entirely, as the server rules state that no hacked clients, it is a legit texture pack, so it could be debatable. It technically is not a hacked client, therefore not against the rules.
X-ray texture packs are against the Server Rules. The rule on mods also applies to texture packs as well in that if it gives you an unfair advantage then it is not allowed.
My opinion on this is: Nobody PVPs, so why does the amount of guards matter? If you want to guard an empty prison, who should be there to stop you? That being said, I think there should be an incentive to PVP on the server that is just slightly designed for PVP. What I propose is a system where killing a person captures 2-5% of their income, and gives it to you. I think that doing this will fix not only a broken economy, but get the prison riots looking like the old days.
That system seems very punishing to prisoners... It's already bad enough to Cs who have to be repeatedly killed by Frees whenever these "riots" occur, but to also have their BP taken from them just for being killed by an overpowered Free is just cruel and unusual, and would certainly cause many, many prisoners to quit.
