As many people have said many times, this mod has several problems and is in slow development. The fact that 1.7 has a lot of major changes to the code isn't helping progress get along any faster either. I want this mod working for the latest updates just as much as all of you, but the best thing to do at the moment is be patient and just show some support. Tell him you appreciate the mod instead of begging for an update.
GOLLY GEE!
THANKS FOR CORUPPTING MY FRICKEN GAME!
You know, the one with all my maps?
It's hilarious how stupid people can be. It's obvious that this mod isn't very compatible with anything if you looked at the other replies in this thread. If you didn't want to lose something important to you, you shouldn't have made it so easy to lose. The mod works, it just takes someone who has a moderate amount of common sense and a little bit of PC knowledge, which you obviously lack. I've installed this mod multiple times on several different versions, and it worked every time. It's very buggy, but it's never corrupted anything because I didn't give it the chance to. If you try the mod again once all of your mental facilities are functioning properly, you might be pleased with the results.
Also: Your childish signature doesn't amount to anything, and if anything it will cause MORE people to try this mod.
If you people are so concerned with this mod, maybe it would help if you read the reply's on the thread. He already said that he was working on a forge version. This mod is probably one of the more difficult mods to make just because hes screwing with input and not just adding or modifying game files.
The basic idea is to be able to use axes somewhat like tomahawks. All you would have to do is right click with it and it would be thrown. It would be a good alternative to bows and would add a little more variety to combat. The thrown axes could do 1 - 1 1/2 hearts more damage than the sword made of the same material.
When the axe is thrown it would have more drop and a longer travel time. The axe could either turn into a dropped item when it hits something, or it could stick into the entity and be retrieved after it was killed/picked up from the block it hit.
I really think this would be pretty cool for PvP and even just having fun in single player.
Somebody seriously dug up this nearly year old thread? Whatever. My favorite is OOT, but since that's most peoples favorite, my second favorite would be Twilight Princess.
So I've been using a mod called Infernal Mobs along with a few mods from the Feed the Beast modpack. Basically, it makes some mobs into mini-bosses and when you kill them they drop a random enchanted item. It's a cool mod, but with the new things from industrial craft, they're are kind of pointless. The enchantments are useful, but there is no way to obtain them without cheating.
What I want is a mod that creates a block that could remove the enchantment(s) from an item, destroying the item in the process, and store them in book(s). Each enchantment that was on the item will be stored in a separate book. This could make it easier to get the enchantments you want on items in vanilla as well.
If you wanted to get a certain enchantment, for example Fortune 3, then you could make a bunch of wooden pickaxes, and enchant them until you get the effect you want. Then you could strip the enchantment from the item and put it on a better item.
I don't really have any concept pictures because I just thought of this and wanted to write it down before I forgot, but I might try to work on something later.

If someone could make a really basic version of this I'm sure you would get some popularity for it.
