posted a message on Survival Games Stats Lost!!!
I recently just changed my username from "THETENNISBOTBALL" to just "BOTBALL", and apparently Minecraft views that as totally creating a brand new account, so I lost all of my stats on all of the servers that I play on, including ranks! So does anyone know how to get these stats back? Plus, I can't go back to my old username due to the allotted 30 day period between username changes. Any help is appreciated.
I didn't log about before changing my name. Could that be the problem?

posted a message on House ... thoughts?
Surprisingly, I was actually going for medieval, but it didn't pan out as I thought it would. Like I said, I am a very inexperienced builder but quite the pvp'er, if I must say so myself. Just recently have I been getting into redstone mechanics and technical building. I am working on my skills, but I struggle with building things. IRL, I am not a very artistic individual, so creating, even, a basic two-dimensional sketch is very, very difficult for me. So it is not surprising that I am struggling tremendously with this. I will continue to work to get better, and hopefully, one day, I will become the builder that I am seeking out to be. Thank you! :)

I am definitely not a professional builder. I am a novice at best. Here is a house I just built really quickly. I am wondering what are your thoughts of it. Constructive criticism is definitely appreciated.

I really struggled with constructing the roof... but, yeah...

posted a message on Why aren't I seeing the critical effects when I hit a player/mob whilst falling in a downward motion.
It is pretty much basic Minecraft knowledge that when a player impacts a mob or another player whilst falling downwards, the player will deal a critical hit on said mob or player, elevating the amount of damage the attacked mob or player experiences--a "critical" hit. Critical hits are indicated by the sparkles that emit from whomever the critical hit was dealt. This is where my conundrum kicks in. See, earlier today I was practicing critical hits with a diamond sword on mobs on a single player server. I was executing the process correctly--jumping up and impacting the mob when falling back to the surface--however, the sparkle effects were not present, indicating that I was not dealing a critical hit. Now, this confuses me ... I doubt this is because you can't deal critical hits on single player mode ... and I am pretty sure that I was executing the process of dealing a critical hit correctly, so why wouldn't I be dealing a critical hit? Any information on the matter is appreciated! Oh, and in case this helps, I was playing on 1.7.10 Optifine. Thanks!

Oh ... and I would also like to add that I tried it on 1.7.9 (non-Optifine) as well.

posted a message on What is the worst biome?
While ocean biomes are the most annoying and time-consuming biomes to play on, I believe aesthetically, the ordinary plains biome is just boring. So I'd have to vote for that.

posted a message on Faction Server Tips (everybody)
Hello, ArcanineLover99. I, botball, am knew to this forum and am happy to answer your questions. However, I apologize, for I am a terrible grammar nazi ... And I must first point out the copious amounts of comma splices, run-on sentences, and incorrect terminology/phrases used in your above writing. Now that I am done mentioning that, allow me to stray from my OCPD-based and severely superfluous banter and address the matter at hand.

    - You, of course, will need to implement a currency plugin (What is factions without a system of currency?). And factions--as you probably know--requires an efficient teleporting system, with "TPA" being the main teleportation command that can be inserted by users in order to request a teleportation to other players currently on the server. Along with the remedial, basic commands, I highly suggest you merely get creative! Make the server interesting and different from any other factions server--coding skills may constraint, however.

    - I definitely suggest an intricate spawn-build, so I believe you definitely should get a really good builder to do the job. I don't know about my fellow Minecraft players, but I am quite quick to judge a factions server based on the complexity and aesthetic appease of the spawn.

    - Along with the personal preferences that I mentioned prior, I enjoy a faction server with multiple and interesting biomes (e.g.., a winter biome, an ordinary biome, a desert biome ... a space biome? Maybe?). And of course, with a system of biomes, thou must keep the biomes isolated and completely separated from one another to the point at which online players have no way to access another biome whilst in one biome other than teleportation from spawn or via a simple on-server command.

That is all I would like say. It was nice answering your questions; I wish you good luck on your future Minecraft endeavours!
