    Gender: Male
    Age: 18
Have you read the rules: Yes, I am very frugal in nature, The most frugal, other frugalians want to be me!
Have you read the lore: Yerp

RP Experience: I have played on a few RP servers and I have spent a good amount of time on servers like Lord of the Craft, Lost Days, and Emperia Craft.

Fallout Experience: I have played both fallout 3 and fallout: New Vegas and read a bit of the lore.

Define Meta Gaming: Meta gaming is when someone uses information they got through OOC means for IC gain; ex: Tommy heard over team speak that some raiders hid a huge stash of stuff at a spot, he then goes in character and looks the entire stash even though its ICly hidden deep in raider lands and hidden behind a 5-pin pass code and camo.

Define Power Gaming: Power gaming is say using In-game mechanics for IC purposes that don’t make sense ( Say someone who is Rply just a small time water farmer, knowing how to make high tech weapons, tools, and know how to fight off hordes of enemies ) or say using there role play to shoot down others in a unrealistic and unfair advantage ( "Tommy jumps over the five armed raiders flawlessly even though they just had him at gunpoint, pulling out his dual 9mm pistols, shooting each of them perfectly in the head so they die instantly, then doing a 360 degree spin and landing perfectly on his feet, and get a 10 from the Russian Judge, even though he has a busted leg and a broken arm ).

    RP example:
"Come on, come on!" Fredrick comes to wonder how he always seems to get sucked into these situations and always seeming to be put on the spot. Just walking back to the fort after a night of a few less than pure intentions and some random farmers come running up to him, seeing the Follower of the Apocalypse symbol on his back and screaming for help.
From what they told him, someone got bit by a gecko and was bleeding, what they did NOT tell him was it was a fire gecko. Fire gecko’s bite causes hallucinations, which made the farmer who was bitten think he was a bird, jump out of the bed they put him on, and smash his head on a nearby table. Now, while he stays in this small room, trying to stop the bleeding of this poor man’s head, there stand, outside the room, three angry and upset farmers, one of them big enough to tear his head off with his little finger, and holding an axe that would make a mutant hillbilly blush.
He applies pressure to the man’s head, bringing the bleeding to a small trickle, which is good - him writhing on the floor and speaking gibberish was not. Many thoughts ran through his head ‘til a light clicked on, as he tore into his jacket pocket and smiled as his fingers locked around the plunger of a stimpack. He finished wrapping the farmer’s head with a dirty bandage, and constrained his hands using the rest of the cloth. While the man ranted, raved and squawked, he began to clean the bite on his leg, and then jammed the stim's needle deep into his wound, watching as the man slowly calmed down and began to lay down in a tranquil slumber.
Fredrick wiped his forehead and smiled, popping a tab from the bottle of buffout in his other pocket, and throwing it into his gullet like a bit of candy. He then examined the room, saw a few caps resting on a table, picked a few up for himself (Business expenses) and boldly left the room, heading back to the Mormon fort for a stiff drink and some well deserved rest and relaxation.

    Biography:
Fredrick Amadias is a man who has spent most of his life being very, very lucky, considering the world around him; however, as of now, his luck may have run out.
Fredrick grew up in a small farming community with his mother, father and siblings, in the Nevada area, and a stone’s throw away from the strip. When the NCR came in, preaching democracy and what not, he did not really pay attention, what DID catch his eye was the Followers of the Apocalypse, and a woman within it that he would have liked to get to know better ( young love, what can ya do? ). At the ripe age of 18 he joined the Followers in an attempt to get closer to her (and failing), yet still staying on, as seeing he could pick up quite a few useful skills. Fast forward four years, and events have come and gone, and yet, Fredrick is still pretty much the same spacey, sort of useless, Charming (or so he thinks) farm boy.
This, plus a few "accidents" involving some illicit medical supplies and missing a stock (which has left a less than stellar mark on the rest of the group) lead him to be picked, along with a few select others, for a very serious mission: To head eastward and spread the ideas and teachings of the Followers of the Apocalypse!
Now on a note, one may come to ask "Wait a moment, how could one of the members who seems to be useless be chosen for such an important mission?" The answer simply being it is viewed, by the leaders at the time, as a one way trip. The caravans which planned to do this trip simply needed doctors and were willing to pay quite a lot in caps, yet they were very forward with how dangerous this was and how the people may not come back. With his most recent accidents fresh in the minds of the men and woman around him, it became a landslide vote to send him along with a few other less than stellar (but more reasonable) members.
Now, Fredrick did not mind this, really. In his time in the Vegas area he had made some, dear, dear... enemies. He also made a friend or two, but his family had long since disowned him, so he really had no ties to this place anymore. Thus with a nod, a wink and a few "Special" supplies he headed off with a few other followers and a caravan, heading off to see more of this wonderful, beautiful, and glowing (green) world.
This is where things went south.
Two years later, the group had traveled through most of, and what remained of the United States of America, having seen many things and taught quite little they were worse for ware. Having a little less than half of their original numbers, they stopped on the border of a place called “Long island," as far as Fredrick could tell. The reason they were stopped was that they ran into a large group of what appeared to be men in energy powered tin cans. After some talking with these people, everything was going well - that was until some other men in energy powered tin cans decided to come by and ruin the little get together.
The flashing lights, sounds, and noises were deafening, and in the panic of it all, Fredrick had hidden under an overturned cart, and waited until the battle was over, which ended as quickly as it began. When all was said and done, everyone had been either killed or had run off, leaving poor Fredrick alone and scared, with no friends, no caravan, and only himself for company with a new land in front of him.
He gulped, and looked about, grabbing some food, medical supplies, a .44 magnum, and an old combat knife from one of the bodies.
And so, with another (a bit more nervous) wink and nod, he entered this new land with one idea in the forefront of his mind.

    "I need a drink."

Very well, I understand your point with the story and the lore, as I had trouble finding a proper lore page ( no offense, just a little anti-moron friendly ._. ) but what about the rules? I thought I did a decent description of meta/power gaming

posted a message on So I have a rather.. weird issue
So I recently had to wipe my computer and start fresh, however I was able to save all the old files in a folder on my desk top. Now I went to go and re-install minecraft and it told me it needed java so I re-installed it and once it told me it was wrong so I un-installed and did it again and now my minecraft gives he this error message when I try to start it
"error: could not create java virtual machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. program will exit"
so I thought no big deal Il simply un-install and re install nothing big, I went looking for my .minecraft folder.. and it does not exist. for some reason I do not have a .minecraft folder even though I installed minecraft. maybe I did not do It right I do not know but to sum it up here is the issue.
the java machine does not work, and I need to uninstall minecraft to do so however I can not find my .minecraft folder nor can I bring it up in the control panel and so far it is telling me it does not exist even though I can see it clearly on my desk top.
What am I doing wrong? how can I fix this? anyone know?
