I just Instaled this in my jar that had buildcraft, redpower, and better than wolves. I then get an error saying that there were incompatible block IDs. Note: I had already started a world and was looking for other mods to add to this. The point of this reply is why did you take out the config file and can you please put it back in.
This is my first mod and my second minecraft project. What this mod does is give modders more and simpler methods to use with ModLoader.
The code bellow shows the methods useable with this API
addRecipe:
arguments:Block or Item, Object[]
simply adds a recipe without having to write "new ItemStack(block)"
addFullRecipe:
arguments:Block or Item, Block or Item
automaticly adds a recipe that requiers you to fill the whole 3x3 crafting grid.
addHalfRecipe:
arguments:Block or Item, Block or Item
same as full, only for the 2x2 inventory grid.
addToolSet:
arguments:Item x 5,String,Block or Item(, Item)
automaticly adds names and recipes for each tool.(don't function yet unless described as tool in declaration)
addArmourSet:
arguments:Item x 4,String Block or Item
same as tools, but with armour.(don't function yet unless described as armour in declaration)
getBlockFromName:
argument:String
suposed to return a block from the name suplied but somehow doesn't work. :sad.gif:
addMoreNames:
arguments:Object[],String[]
does modloaders addName method but for multiple items.
registerMoreBlocks:
argument:Block[]
does modloaders RegisterBlock method but for multiple blocks.
also has an exists boolean method because java doesn't come with an easy one.
I plan to add more with capabilities with ShockAhPI and ScotTools.
Requires ModLoader but is not an actual ModLoader mod.
Download: ModSimplifier.Class
Yes! :laugh.gif: It's just a single class with a bunch of methods to use.
To Instal, simply copy the class into minecraft.jar with a zipping program and decompile (or not if you are not a modder).
Hey, When ever I right click a planter in minefactory, the screen just goes to saving chunks, then crashes, I tried put the sapplings in with pipes (buildcraft) but they wouldn't get planted. On top of that I can't seem to place a fertillazer. What's going on?
I wanted to try the map but I then realized it was a rar and can't open with windows explorer. Can you please make the download a simple zip? I don't understand how .rar is better than .zip.
Edit: I got it running and beat the fire/broken temple but then it asks me for a drum which I don't have.
Try adding a more detailed/organized explanation of the program.
Also, pictures are nice to see what we are downloading.
Show it at work..
Possible videos are a great way!
I'll try it later I suppose when some cleaning up of the thread is done, as-well as some pics or video's.
One more thing...Saying you will not update it just because you didn't become an instant hit is not the view you want to send the people downloading it.
OK added some screenshots to the fist post
And this is my first project so I'm not quite sure how to clean it up yet, but it should be better in the future.
Also what I ment by not updating is that I wouldn't update much untill I know what people want.
overview:
I know there are many mod managers out there, but not a single jar manager, so I decided to make a tool that alows you to run minecraft from any modded (or unmodded) jars you have. Currently you can just run any of your minecraft.jars, but I plan on making it possible to copy, rename, analize for mods, check version, and even instal mods into your jars. Infact most of those features are visable, they just don't work. Sorry for the inconvienience; just ignore them. I may add a GUI to it, but that will involve switching to a different language. This is my first public project and would like help to orginize this.

Resugami - to make a simple way to orginize mods (will use the "mod_*.class when inspecting)
instructions:
1. Open the file
2. Type your Computer username to find your appdata
3. Type "2" to choose the start option
4. Type the name of the jar you wish to play minus the "minecraft" and ".jar", so blank for the default
5. Enjoy playing Minecraft
6. Close the window, for some reason the prompt dosn't work and both options close the program.
7. Wait for me to add a new feature or fix a current one
8. Download update
9. Enjoy new update
Last 3 steps are optional.

july 4: added changelog and simple version of program
I am making a minecraft launcher on batch that bypasses the regular launcher (to choose which modded jar to play) but it won't launch. I'm suspecting that the problem is that minecraft doesn't explicitly have a "main class". My error is:
Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from
C:\Users\?___?\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
(The "?___?" was to hide my username.)
Does anyone know what class I should load or how to fix this
