    /take [player] [im(item minimum), x, y, z, r] [item] [amount]

This would be the opposite of the /give command but it takes an item from the players inventory.

It is possible to make a store using command blocks but the only possible currency is xp levels. With this command you would be able to do it with any item you want. Like diamonds or gold for example.

But for the store to work the /give command would Have to have an im (item minimum) in addition to lm (levels minimum(which currently exists)) so you can only give people things if they have atleast a certain amount of a certain item.

I think this would be a pretty cool new command, tell me if you like it.

I like the new player target ideas, but the take command already exists in the form of /clear. If no item is specified, as you probably know, it clears the entire inventory, but you can also specify an item id (/clear <player> <item id>) and it will remove only instances of that item from the inventory. It does, however, take all of them, not a specified amount.

    The spawn command doesn't work.
I tried to spawn 10 creepers:
    spawnentity 50 10
    and
    spawnentity creeper 10
    and
    /spawnentity 50 10
    and
    /spawnentity creeper 10

This is a command suggestion thread, not a real command thread

Everything except for 6 and 7. They are already in game.

I like the /equip command. Can be useful in things like PVP arenas

#7 was not in the game when I first suggested it, but I'm glad it's incorporated now. #6, however, is not already implemented, take a closer look at what's under the spoiler. With /give, you can only specify amount, damage, and data values. With #6, it would give them an item you placed into a slot, so not only could you specify amount, damage, and data values, but you could also give books with text in them, enchanted items, or dyed leather armor. It is similar to /give, but improved. So it's not the same as /give and we don't already have it implemented. Read the full spoiler.
Use: This would require a box somewhere on the command block GUI which you could place one item in. You can put any item in here, including enchanted items or dyed armor (Which you currently can't give with the /give command, they have extra values besides damage and data values that describe them), and, when activated, this command would give the player specified that item. With this, you can give out enchanted things, dyed armor, or written books without a dispenser. No amount or damage value is specified in command because this can be applied directly to the item before putting it in the slot (if you put a stack of items in the slot, it will give the player a stack of items)

You could always use dispensers, but they eventually run out.

Already possible with /gamerule commandBlockOutput false.

Yeah, but it wasn't possible when I suggested that, that gamerule came after I came up with that idea. Hooray for the slight chance that Mojang maybe saw this thread and got the idea from me instead of just thinking of it themselves!

posted a message on 11 lever combo lock on snapsot 12w42B
I actually made a version of this with buttons and t-flip flops (just because I wanted to, I knew there were better ways to do it, I just wanted to try out D-Flip Flops with a simple project, I've used them before but now that we have better ones I wanted to use them for something else), but I noticed something when testing it out. For me, when I just kept toggling the T-Flip Flops (the T-Flip Flops would be equivalent to the levers in this case) from left to right a few times it would eventually open assuming the input was always on (or just on once I locked the first repeater, it doesn't matter what it is after). I actually made use of this concept though, which I can make a post about later. (so basically, starting from lever 1 and going to lever 11, turn off each lever, repeat and turn them all back on, do this until the door opens). The redstone signal will slowly advance through the line of repeaters because, even if the repeater before it is off, a locked repeater will still transmit power to the next one. This is a good idea, but it's just easy to hack.

Also, why is the second half of line 6 powered (It goes nonpowered repeater, block, block, (is there something under those blocks?) powered repeater)

And people saying this isn't an efficent way to make a combo lock, he probably just wanted to test out the new easy way to make a D-Flip Flop. This is the exact same thing I did to test it out, just with levers instead of buttons.

I would post with more detail if I had more time, but I don't right now, so I'll just direct you to look up an XOR latch, that MAY be what you're looking for.

I haven't had much free time recently, but I'd definitely like to see this continue, a redstone top 5 with a better input on what the top 5 are and with a narrower entry scope than, let's say, Machinima's, is great. The redstone creations section has just died down it seems, it doesn't seem like many people browse around here much anymore. I wish it wasn't that way, and it shouldn't be that way, but it is. There were apparently 9 topics posted in in here yesterday and 5 topics today.

    Nice,

Would you be interested to add these to my list:

    http://www.minecraft...-commands-list/

I'll credit you of course, just pop over and fill the forms in!

    Also,you can bump here?

Yeah sure, I'll do that now. And I remember reading the thing about bumping on the suggestions forum on one of the pinned threads, don't remember which one it was though. Or, worst case scenario, someone went all Inception on me and planted the idea that I saw that in my head while I was dreaming. I'm PRETTY sure that wasn't it though.

First I'd like to comment on one of them.

    1. /pulse [x,y,z] <length in ticks]
If length not set, default button pulse. - What I like to do for this is just teleport a player onto a pressure pad for a tick or so and then teleport them back to around the location of the button they pressed to activate the circuit the command block was in, but this could work too. So if this doesn't get added, you could always do it my way, even though my way isn't as good as an actual command and would not work in a large number of situations.

    And second, here's mine.

    Command: /giveitem [player]

Use: This would require a box somewhere on the command block GUI which you could place one item in. You can put any item in here, including enchanted items or dyed armor (Which you currently can't give with the /give command, they have extra values besides damage and data values that describe them), and, when activated, this command would give the player specified that item. With this, you can give out enchanted things, dyed armor, or written books without a dispenser. No amount or damage value is specified in command because this can be applied directly to the item before putting it in the slot (if you put a stack of items in the slot, it will give the player a stack of items)

Extra Info: In addition, there could be a checkbox that toggles whether it gives it to the player by putting it directly into their inventory or the regular way. This could apply both to this and the regular /give command. Armor could go directly into the armor slot if it is open.

    One more:

    Command: /gamerule showCommands [true/false]

Use: Another /gamerule command, this one would toggle whether commands would be able to show in the chat on a certain map (despite what the chat settings are in options)

Extra Info: This could also be replaced with a checkbox on each command block that toggles whether the command from that command block would be shown in chat.

I'm only accepting contraptions that work in 1.3 and you can post them here.

In that case, ignore the second link and just look at the first one. Maybe I can fix it for the next episode. For future reference, Is there a rule about submitting more than one per round?

Can we submit the stuff here instead of by email? If so, I would like to submit two creations, however I'm not sure if we're allowed to and one of them got broken by the new piston timings in 1.3 so if you'd like footage of that one you'd have to borrow it out of my video. If you want to see the second entry tell me, but right now it isn't compatible with 1.3. Anyways, here's the creation I'll submit that does work with the current update (last time I checked anyway). It's a giant connect-4 board that has a color screen, does not use X's and O's, and is not gravity-reliant. http://www.minecraft...-water-or-lava/ The other thing I'd want to submit if I knew the rules about submitting two and it was fixed for 1.3 is more practical, the forum post is here.
