Are you sure you have the name right? It should be assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/colormap/fog0.png (and sky0.png, underwater.png, etc.). In 1.6 Mojang changed from misc/foliagecolor.png to colormap/folage.png, so MCPatcher followed that convention.
Sorry, mislabeled it in my post. Yes, I have the name right! Still doesn't work.
I've started development on a new website for the pack! Unfortunately I have halted production while I get this out of the way (hobbies come and go, hah) but once I'm done I will start turbo-releasing textures.
Here's the progression so far:
I recently came into possession of an ancient iMac g5, running OSX 10.5. When I download the launcher, it says I don't have the right java version. When I go to the java website and try to download the correct version, it says java 7 doesn't support 10.6 and below, and for java 6, to go to software update. My software is up to date.
As far as I can see, this should be working. The redstone dust is close enough to update the top pistons, and they should update the bottom ones. Not sure.
Two things I can suggest to try:
remove one of the middle redstone dust from the top (making it a C, rather than a 2x3 rectangle), to maybe eliminate a race condition from the two torches (I don't actually know what I'm talking about here)
extend the ceiling another block and add more redstone dust to change the dust configuration (the directions it points) above the pistons (sometimes that helps, by changing the order in which Minecraft updates blocks).
I'll try all of those, but I don't think the C will work, as I have a wire connecting the torches so that if one of the pressure plates is powered, both torches will go out. I'll post my progress tommorow hopefully, if not it may be a few days.
I have been messing with this for a few hours now, and I think I've come up with what is causing the issue: block updates. I need help figuring out how to fix it, though.
I am (attempting) to make a secret door. In the pictures I have removed all non-affecting wiring. Here's a side view with emoticons:
:-( ): :-( ): :-( ):
My problem is that the pistons will not retract if the powered redstone (with rs. torches) is turned off. It will only retract if I remove the redstone and then place it back. (it retracts when I place it back, not when I remove it, and only if it is unpowered when I place it back)
Here's some pics:
I know there is a way to fix this, because I have built a working prototype elsewhere, and this is to the exact block. When I step on the pressure plates that, in turn, turn the powering redstone torches off, the pistons do not retract. I have tried scrapping the whole thing multiple times, and rebuilding it from scratch (from my prototype).
Help? P.S. This is on a server, if it matters. The prototype was on the same server, about ten blocks away.
As i stated above, it wouldnt have to be sand the water was beside, it could even be grass, dirt stone or (other texture) it wouldn't matter, so it wouldnt fall short at the problem of detecting blocks, all it has to do is detect that the next block isn't water. You could also apply a height filter to this to prevent water in other places gaining beaches such as in builds. While this may be time consuming if you wanted to have this in your pack that badly then i doubt the time would matter, it is the kind of thing that can be done with 40 frames, which as ctm animations go isn't bad.
Last time I checked, you couldn't apply CTM to water.

It's actually 1.7 compatable already, there are just a few bugs.

Aw, that's too bad. Anyway, thanks for the info! Now back to my trusty dell..

No, I wasn't saying the phrase was a typo, the word "optifines". He forgot the "'"!

Should be optifine's!

You are seriously messed up. I hope you don't mind if I don't shake your hand.
