Dude this looks awesome. I love the creativity behind it. What you did with the void fog and removing the bedrock looks amazing. It's like stepping into the twilight zone. I also am very fond of what you did with the endermen. This looks great so far!

creative post. I wish this forum had more humorous pictures rather than only "epic" structures and what not.

I've enjoyed it so far. Luckily, after finding enough food to last me a while, I found a very nice cave that led to a ravine. This led me to more than a stack of iron, some gold, a vein of 4 diamonds, coal, and countless mob kills. I was running low on food so I dug up to the ground level. I was in a desert and found a village. I made my bedroom in the second story of the church. The testificate wouldn't leave the bedroom so I murdered him. It has been countless nights and I still survived. I have since found some more diamonds.
Probably the most bad ass thing I have done so far is blindy teleporting in front of a spider-jockey. It was night time, and I was itching to battle. So on top of the church that I inhabited, I randomly shot an enderpearl into the sky. I quickly realized there was a spider jockey and some zombies in proximity. I killed the spider, then the jockey, then the zombies... and I live to tell the tale. I'm still going strong on my hardcore world.

This sound clip has been discovered a long while back but there wasn't any way to access it in game until now. There was controversy on whether or not it has anything to do with the game but that seems to be the case now.

I think it's pretty sweet!

dude awesome! I've been wondering if this was added or not... I haven't heard anything else about it.

considering that the playable version at pax had no npcs, i wouldn't count on it. it's a shame really because that's one of the things i was really looking forward to. they have been working on this update for months... i feel like this should be done.

My friend and I built this in an SMP server that we play on. Only mod used was compassing and mcmmo. It took 36,648 pumpkins. If you have render distance set on regular, you can't see from one end to the other.

So they do these threads for the pc version of minecraft, why not PE too?
Basically ill compile a big list of features and keep them up-to-date as more discoveries/news come in.

Android Ver 0.2.0:

Released 2/10/12

Survival:

-Survival was added

-you can now select survival as a world type from the world create menu

-There is now a day and night cycle which seems a bit faster than the pc version's

-sheep now roam the lands and dont drop anything except when sheared.

-zombies will spawn anywhere theres dark, they seem to spawn much faster than the pc version's zombies. They are a 2 hit kill with your sword.

-You now have to harvest raw resources (ie:things you just mine up, no crafting) if you obtain more than 99 the block # (how many of a material you have) will stop increasing but it will still keep track of how many you have.

-tools have been added and help you destroy certain blocks faster (depending on the tool)

-You now have health that slowly regenerates over time (like the pc's peaceful mode) and you can take fall damage as well as damage from zombies. You can also drown.

-there is an air bar when youre underwater

- They have added a "You Died" screen with the options of respawning or quitting to the main menu.

- you can now place doors by default (no hexing required)

-you can now place and harvest/place gravel

-you can now place dark grey wool

-You can now place fences and fence-gates

-you can now harvest/place catus and reeds (sugar-cane)

-Cobblestone has new texture (same as the pc's 1.7 texture)

Creative:

-you can now fly by double tapping the jump button. You can ascend by double tapping the up arrow and descend by double tapping the down arrow.

Misc:

-The majority of the Pc version's mobs textures are in the games files, hopefully indicating that they will all be added soon.

Known Bugs:

-Cannot create new worlds on some devices

-zombies turn invisible when lit on fire (needs confirmation)

-game freezes for a second before opening inventory screen
