Why do you wish to join this server?: I always get so bored playing 200+ Minecraft mods alone. It's great to have people to help you with problems and who will accept your choices and not reject them.
Do you have any prior knowledge in modded minecraft?: Plenty. I've been modding since before release version 1.0. Ah, those were the days...
What do you hope to try out / achieve on the server?: I hope to find a diverse community of mod savvy players like me and I also hope to find new mods to be addicted to.
Will you be on Teamspeak?: I may be on, but not much though. I don't take pride in my voice.
Every time I use torcherino, there is one thing I wish I had. That thing is Vertical Torcherinos. They would be the exact same as regular torchernos, but they would speed up a 3x3 vertical space, not a 3 high horizontal space.

Yes, I did go trough the work of creating fake torcherinos in quadrum and creating crafting recipies with minetweaker to demonstrate this.
I believe that TC uses the new fluid registry system while jsonables and customitems use the old one. See if you can ask the custom items creator if he uses the new forge fluid registry.
1. the liquid name for nova water needs to be Nova_water not nova_water in the jsonables file.
2. you put "resource":"customitems;nova_water", in the jsonables config. It should be a colon (:) not a semi-colon (;)
I will do one last test to see if these are your problems Custom Items does not support the latest version of forge, which version are you using of forge?
Oh, also. What are you doing this for? As a fun thing or for a modpack? I have always wanted to make a unique modpack with quests and stuff but could never do it due to lack of ideas or motivation.
apoclaydon, do you happen to have MineTweaker installed? If so, could you hold the nova water block (not the bucket) and type "/mt hand" without the quotes. This should output the nova water's proper name to be used in the json file to the chat. It will probably say something like:<customitems:nova_water> * 1. take the name that is inbetween customitems: and > then put that as the resource.
PS: I copied your json file and replaced the nova_water with water. Whenever I put my mouse over the water in the smeltery, I crashed.

May I use this mod in a mod pack I probably wont end up publishing?
The reason for me possibly not publishing it is when ever I have a problem I have no one to ask or I have no ideas/motivation for the pack. Help would be appreciated. The only ideas I have so far is a pack based around exploring an enormous amount of dimensions. I have added multiple mods that add a dimension or two. I also am going to find as many mods as I can that let me modify the game to my liking like Quadrum and Minetweaker.
I have a quick question to ask of all the modpack creators out there. If I want to customize a modpack I am creating AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE which mods should I use? I already know of:
Quadrum
MineTweaker
ModTweaker
and {JSONAbles}
Oh and I also want to be able to:
Customize the tile screen
Dis-allow creation of other types of worlds
If anyone is curious by the way, I am planning to continue updating this, I just am busy
I am going to add a Torcherino that speeds up entities as well!
