posted a message on Nyan Cat actually helps me.
    Quote from Ryushi

Conjure up the all consuming Nyan Cat and voila, all your mind races with is the rainbow trail of Nyan Cat and it's awesome beat.

Although this is completely off topic...well not completely but somewhat, "it's awesome beat" isn't "it's" beat, the only unique part is the word "nyan" actually being added to the song. Need proof? Here's the original song, and yes I know it's a stupid video.
Anyway, back on topic, if this helps you sleep then you're addicted to a poptart cat which means you're officially messed up.

By the way, imma put this out there right now: So many of my posts make me seem mean or stuck up because people can't actually HEAR me, they only see what I said which is why i'm putting it out there right now that I hope nobody takes anything I say as being negative.

Why is anyone in the universe still using IE?

Personal preferance, if I wanted to change to something else I would've, and infact i'd consider it since the only things I use are the favorite's button and the back and forward, at the end of the day though, it's the same reason I don't have a facebook account, because I just don't want it.

    Quote from Bramamine

There are some compatibility issues with some versions of IE, namely IE8. Use Google Chrome or Firefox.

In that case i'm going to assume eventually said compatability issues would be fixed in which i'll wait, if that's not the case, again, i'll consider it even though it's likely not going to happen.

Sorry if it's not enough details or if I should be saying this somewhere else, but whenever I click to download a texture pack it says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

posted a message on I Think I'm Going Insane...
    Quote from BradyHD

Yes, some of you may know that I'm legally borderline insane. My fire alarm kept beeping over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over until I finally lost it and punched the fire alarm. It shattered and fell off the wall after one hit, leaving my hand bloody.

Have you ever had a moment where one small thing, or one extremely annoying repetitive thing set you off, and you just go insane?

My fire alarm beeps when the battery goes out, you may have just had to change the batteries. On topic, almost any time people ask why something happened instead of just letting me fix it, I hate when my friends say "why did you get off minecraft" when minecraft crashes. I don't snap THAT offten, but sometimes it happens.

Running off the assumption you think permadeath is losing everything upon death, it only means you lose experiance and levels, and leveling up on its own is likely to only build up on what we already have, so it's optional and not a necessity to level up to make use of that diamond pick you crafted seconds before dying or something. Hunger isn't an issue, is it really that hard to kill a pig every now and then? Creative is being implemented too so for those who don't want the survival crap or whatever they can play creative. Lastly, bosses, so what? If they're like Terraria you don't even need to fight them, if they're not, they're likely not to come attack you in broad daylight or something anyway. Do not forget, also, this is an INDIE game, and not only that but Notch is for the most part the one in charge, he and whoever helps him actually MAKE the game (as in actually put the code into java and MAKE the game) can decide what to put in the game, and even if he gets help from us, it's his decision to put it in or not, and if you don't like it you're more than welcome to leave.

posted a message on Notch Reveals Leveling and Permadeath
I wouldn't mind permadeath so long as the leveling system just builds up on the default skills we have now, such as my diamond pick lasts longer or breaks things faster, and my sword kills a zombie faster. If it means needing a certain level for a certain item then Minecraft is done for. This would mean the diamond pick I work so hard for can immediately get taken away when my ability to use it is removed by the fact that when I died, permadeath kicked in and removed all my levels. (Might I add that this is a fact many people who were to lazy to click the PC Gamer link and read it missed) Also: as a side note for the few people said this is only Adventure Mode, let me put this out there, I read somewhere "Adventure Update doesn't mean Adventure MODE". So no, it won't be toggle-able, it's a part of the game, accept that it won't be as bad as you think it is and get on with your life. Notch went this far and he hasn't ruined his game, he's not going to ruin it now, and i'm fairly sure he's picked up on a way to make this work for players both new and old without making dying insanely infuriating, especially with how common it has become in Minecraft. That said, again, it could all be simply modded out if he REALLY thinks the idea he just put out there is going to be pleasent to the player if a SINGLE tool has a leveling requirement. On to hunger, that's interesting, but since I play a server with a hunger mod I wouldn't mind hunger at all.

Very nice mod and works properly.
I would like to mention an idea for a new block.
I always have problems by making minecarts move by themselves. And since the boosting feature between minecarts got removed i dont really find a good way to start minecarts. Wouldnt it be nice to have a block that just pushes the minecart away so that you can make minecarts move without using difficult devices. Using pistons doesnt work really good so i would be happy if you can design a block that can push minecarts.
    TY for reading
    greetz LivingCorps

That rail is already in vanilla in the form of powered rails. If you're looking for a block that does it then that's a bit harder, but a simple powered rail could do the exact thing you need.

I've heard this sound before. Chances are you hear an animal walking on grass. From what I know that sounds fairly similar to digging.

I have to wonder if i'm the only one who has a problem with this mod other than a blackscreen. For me nothing works, I installed Modloader, this, and TooManyItems using MCPatcher, and this just doesn't work.

Not sure if this is a noob question but: I have used MCPatcher to install this, Modloader, and TooManyItems, and this mod shows no evidence of working. Are there any conflicting files or something that needs to be done to get these to work together? Preferably withot manually installing each of them?

Maybe add an option for it. In the options menu, add a new tab named "Accessories Settings"
Under that, there would be the option for the cape, but you'll need to unlock it. Maybe either have the option grayed out or have a big fat lock and the words "Locked" on it? Maybe link it to the achievement?

The Accessories Settings tab could also be used for future things, like maybe a hat or shoes you unlock.
    Just think,

    Minecraft: World's greatest indie-game hatmaker

    (I know that's a lot of maybes)

That would work considering it wouldn't ruin skins when it breaks the color or doesn't belong. That and if you prefer it off and need to prove you did do it you could just toggle it on for a little and turn it off.

I wasn't planning on making it something that wouldn't look too out of place in anything

It would be most likely just a black cape with a deep blue symbol right in the center. Wouldn't that look good on just about anything?

Depends on your view on it. What happens when it goes on the guy who prefers a santa skin and uses it whether it's christmas or not? There are still the minority or people out there that could have a skin where it just doesn't fit. Plus, which cape does the game use when christmas comes?

I have no idea why I am seeing this, I can still do everything but I have to guess at what I am doing.

Is there a fix for this?

Assuming you're not using a texture pack, i'm going to take a shot in the dark by saying your biome shading is screwed up. It looks like something that could be fixed by backing up your worlds and re-installing.

I like it, but one thing: So I decide to fight the fog, and defeat it. I am now forced to wear this cape everywhere I go? So now, if I have a robot skin, and it doesn't look good to me with capes, i'll be forced to wear one anyway or make/find a skin that fits it? It's not thought through that a permanent cape would ruin skins that don't look good with them. I don't know of anything to replace it so instead i'd simply just go with my opinion of removing it completely.

Have you tried allocating more memory to Java using the link at the top of the first post? This is a common issue ever since 1.6 and it's really a pain in the ass.

    Bit of an issue...

    http://imageshack.us/f/715/captureqxz.jpg/

I have. I still experienced the same issue in the image in the other post I quoted. I didn't get an out-of-memory error this time, but the particle textures bugged and so when I re-launched the game the same issue came up (white plates and blank white icons for items and blocks) and the particles were fixed, but the items were, again, white plates (shaped like the water and lava blocks).
