i did, it brought me to like 40fps, which still isnt very much, i personally think it hasnt something to do with my game, i think it is something with my java, or cpu.

here you see, it shows 4, but that is way too much because i have a total of 4 cores, i changed it to 2 and it still shows 4, and framerate still hasnt changed, i hope this can be fixed asap because it makes me very sad not being able to play anymore.

    Hello everyone,

Since yesterday my Minecraft began acting crazy, my fps got dramatically decreased, even with Optifine installed. My Average fps on optifine is like 2 fps, on vanilla the max fps i get is 40. I don't know what causes this problem. I tried everything to solve it, reinstalling my gpu drivers, reinstalling the game and reinstalled Java and nothing got solved. I'm very sad, because i got a high end pc with every game running perfect, but not Minecraft. I got a high end gaming pc and this should not be happening.

    my pc specs are:

    Intel Core i5-7500 CPU

Amd Radeon RX 480 8192MB GPU

    16 GB RAM

    Gygabyte Z270X Ultra Gaming Motherboard

    Windows 10 x64 OS

is there anyone who had this problem before or someone who can help me?

BTW: lowering video settings is something i don't see as a solution, but an alternative way of playing wich i don't like to do. because my pc should run better.

i hope you guys can help me (ps: sorry for my possible bad english)
