I hope an admin or mod see's this. I'm wanting to report some griefing that was done to me. I logged on and found that all but one of my enchanting room bookcases had been taken and some of my cobblestone walls. Using a wooden pick to check block updates, i found that kdMonster destroyed my bookcases at roughly 01-18 19:38:25 and dilbertyard destroyed my cobble walls at roughly 01-17 22:46:36. Please something be done, because those books were given to me by Brcmix. I don't care too much about the cobble walls, just thought I would report it.

posted a message on Snapshot 13w01b - A little out of hand?
    Quote from ChaseG1234567890

Now most of you are aware of the recent snapshot and whats in it. The hoppers, sunlight sensors, comparators, nether quartz, etc.
Now how do I describe this update? Tekkit - like. A lot of the stuff in this seems to be copying the Tekkit mod-pack; Hoppers - very similar to the pipes, Sunlight sensors - much like the solar panels, Comparators - Seems like it came right out of Redpower, nether quartz - Tekkit also has ores in the nether.
Now I sorta like the Hoppers, however I'm not so sure about the solar panels, comparators and quartz.
The solar panels are alright, and I would use them, but this kinda defeats a lot of redstone mechanisms that do the same thing.
The comparators are a bit complicated and I'm pretty sure you can make a redstone gate that does the same thing (although I'm not sure). The thing with redstone is that you are given some basic supplies, redstone wire, torch and repeaters, and using these you make the more complicated stuff. I don't believe you should be able to just put down a block that does the stuff for you.
The quartz are alright, but I feel like they need more uses.
I really hope they aren't having it so Minecraft slowly turns to Tekkit. Let's keep it simple.

Ugh. This is not 'Tekkit like' at all. Tekkit is an old modpack, which was illegal. Only one of these things is really from a mod. The hopper that they added is nearly exactly like the hopper from Buildcraft. The daylight sensor is not like a solar panel, it is like the bud switch-type thing that people already use, Mojang has just put it into one easy block. The comparator has done something SIMILAR to redpower 2, and that is compressing one of the already existing logic gates into one block. Nice and simple. And there are plenty of mods, small and big, that add ores to the nether. And these changes and massively game changing, these are for people who like to play around with the more 'complicated' stuff. They are completely optional, no one said you have to use them. So stop complaining.

    Think about it like this

In an adventure map, your walking along a hallway, you see a chest, it says "armor up" you take out the armor and shiny diamond sword, then the game knows your ready and unleashes the furious hordes of zombies (the signal from the chest would be inverted and connected to a command block or something.

When you think about it it has use.

Or you could set the furnace up to a note block, have it play when everything is done smelting, actually that depends on how the furnace gives off power, would be a nice use.

You gave me an idea! If someone were making a Zelda type map or something, they could hook it up so that when the player takes the items out of the chest, noteblocks make the sound effect that happens when Link finds something in a chest!

Uneventful= no big twists or character developments, it's just dragon genocide from start to finish.
Anti-climatic= the main quest's climax involves walking through fog and a fight with the dragon king that's actually easier than any other dragon in the game.

The guild quests are a bit better, bit they all seem to follow the same basic formula. You join the guild, do a couple of quests, superior members think you're special, rumours of a conspiracy start, you join the guilds elite, big bad thing happens that kills someone important, you kill a big bad guy that caused it, everyone loves you and makes you the guild leader, you do household chores for your inferiors.

I like dragon genocide XD and you did just describe all the guilds quest lines, but then really, NEARLLY everything can be described and broken down in a simple way like that. I guess it is just a matter of opinion. How about we drop it, because i dont want to start a fight with you guys :)

    Short, uneventful, and anti-climactic?

well for one, i think i am entitled to my own opinion.
and two, yes the main story line is short, but there are so many different little side quests, or the guild quests that have kept me occupied with the game for ages. and i dont see how you think the story is uneventful OR anti-climatic...
