No, but I used the oracle installer, which doesn't actually uninstall it, but it installs over it. The version of java when I checked it was 7 and later 6, so I don't think that would have made a difference.
My servers have been having extreme chunk errors. (I don't think its classified as a chunk error) Entire biomes get switched around destroying everything in their path. It happened on my bukkit server for 1.2.5 and my pre release servers. I estimated the entire overwritten area is 500 blocks wide. I tried to find more about the error but I don't even know what it is called. The scale of the destruction is incredible and extremely annoying. Is anyone having the same problem? (these are not world holes.) The errors are usually different types of biomes mixed around creating huge walls. I haven't gone anywhere near the far lands, and the maximum distance anyone has traveled from the origin was around 3000 blocks.
