    Here's an idea:
    A "Blaze rifle" that shoots blazes rods(with gunpowder) long distances.
    Less speedy than a bow, but better range(Less drop) and sets the target on fire, and has a scope if telescopes are ever added.
    The projectile, however, would be easily seen(It's a bright, orange streak) and leave a trail of torch flame particles, pinpointing the sniper's position. Shoot and scoot is the order of the day.

    I'd rather not have severe storms break blocks unless there's some sort of defense.
    Maybe have a wind direction as well? And have blocks stop said wind?
    I imagine there would be ray tracing from the direction of the wind, which get displaced sideways by blocks but tend to return to the track as soon as possible. So a wall shields anything directly behind it from the wind, but not anything that's behind it but too far away(otherwise mountains cast wind shadows.) If a ray hits a breakable block, it breaks.
    It'd only send out the occasional wind ray, to avoid lag and because you don't see every pane breaking at once from one gust.

    I think the attack rate is fixed at how fast the mouse clicks, right now. Having there actually being a cooldown between attacks whilst still being clicky-clicky would be jaring though.
    There's a thread I made for better swordplay on the CSL, where you instead swing the cursor(and thus the weapon) through someone while holding left-click to deal damage. Maybe the potion effects can effect how fast you can swing it around?

    Zombies, it depends.
    1.Do they have animal like intelligence? Or are they just drones?
    2.Are they dead or infected?
    3.Are they any more flammable than usual?

    1.If they have animal intelligence, they'll run away from fire. This is actually the main reason flamethrowers were used; they're great psychological weapons. If not, though, it'd probably make things worse; not only are you dealing with a fearless horde, said horde is now ON FIRE.
    2.If they're Romeo type(dead, shoot 'em in the head), it depends how rotted the bodies are. If infected, it might work in a bit.
    3.This is fairly obvious.

    Also, LOGISTICS. Do you have a lot of gasoline around?(Alcohol doesn't burn hot enough.)

    I still support this...
    Although there's probably better ways to go about it. Maybe rightclick on the person you want to tie up with a lead? If you rightclick their upper body, the arms get tied, and if the legs are clicked on, they get tied.
    Harnesses you apply with right click.
