Hey everyone, i just wanted to update this topic. I downloaded a paper server and it fixed all of my lag problems and so far i have not gotten a single message saying server cant keep up. i was even able to up the view distance of the server to 20 and no problems.
I still don't understand why a vanilla server will run on my personal pc with no problems but have issues on the server. maybe something to do with clock speeds of cpu or ram?
So i recently obtained some server hardware and decided to move my mc server from my personal pc to the server I bought. Since I have done this I've been getting some unbearable lag and the logs keep telling me the server cant keep up. When running on my personal pc with 2gb dedicated to it I got no lag while running the server and playing at the same time. But I don't understand why moving it over to the server would cause this issue.
The server is sporting 2x intel xeon e5620 and 16gb ram.
my personal pc is i7 7700 with 16gb ram.
I don't have a whole lot of other information currently at hand and I'm still new to how these servers work, but I could really use some help thanks

that's one of the server logs from yesterday I barely logged in and immediately started having issues.
