    what does over compensate mean?

When you see you are going a bit to the left, for example, so you steer hard, and as a result, you drive a bit to the right, while you should drive straight.

Because diamond tools are the best tools existing, so it makes sense to dig a long time until you finally get your first diamonds. If they weren't rare, why would you mine? And if you don't mine, there is something wrong with a game called Minecraft.

posted a message on My Little Pony : FiM (All Pony-related things go HERE)
I was already curious about all those pony avatars, until I discovered this thread. I really thought this was the worst thing I've ever seen. How could you like a show intended for little girls? But I didn't want to judge a book by it's cover, and decided to just go and watch an episode.
It started as I expected, "some kind of story where the goodies win and the baddies lose". But when the episode started, I couldn't find anything bad about it. Actually, the animation was very good, the scenes were very detailed, the voices weren't bad at all, definetely better than what I expected, the show was quite good, and I continued, watching ep. 2.
At that point I didn't really know whether I liked it, or just found it a good show.
After ep. 3, I knew I liked it, and I watched them all in less than 24 hours...

OP, thanks for starting this thread :smile.gif:

And this, is what we call a prejudice, which is why it will be unlikely that someone is going to play minecraft with you..
Avoid this, by at least showing you are taking your time:
-Use proper grammar (Shout grammar nazi, whatever, I don't care), you don't need to speak perfect English, but everybody knows where to put some dots and commas.
-Put this topic in the right forum.

No offence, I am just trying to help you.

Discuss anything off topic and not related to Minecraft.

    Ahh.

    Sleeping.
Or if I'm not sleeping; reading the forums, playing minecraft, or other random stuff involving the looking at a computer screen.

It was one of my first worlds, I built a small house out of dirt for the first night, because I couldn't find enough wood.
During the night, I heared a spider on the roof, so I decided to make a 1x1 hole in the roof to attack the spider.
Guess what dropped right trough that hole? :Pig: (No, not a pig, I'm just trying to emphasise my stupidity)
He exploded before I could do anything..

So maybe we can try to get the whole idea a little bit more.. 'visual', actually describing what they would be like, making it easier for other people (mod creators, notch) to implement.

So if rivers are implemented, they should flow in a bed, a little below the surface next to it, there would be something at the bottom like cobblestone, gravel, sand, clay, depending on the elevation. For example, there could be cobblestone at high elevation, and then, while elevation decreases, gravel, sand, and finally some kind of delta, in flat areas, a ria in warm mountaneous areas, and a fjord in cold mountaneous areas.

Rivers should also get wider as they are getting closer to sea level. The river itself should consist of flowing source blocks, able to reproduce themselves at the same level. To prevent flooding your entire world, this should stop at sea level. With these blocks, you could be able to build huge dams, and easily create massive lakes by leading a river into it.

I'm just trying to get some suggestions combined, and trying to fill in the gaps a bit. I think it would be awesome this way, but it is probably a lot of programming, and maybe even close to impossible.
