    So the gorgon head actually instakills anything? While I love the idea, that would be really overpowered especially in multiplayer. For dragons and other powerful creatures, it should just scare them away* instead of petrifying them. In Greek mythology, Athena made a mold of Medusa's head on her shield (the aegis) and that's what it did, which makes sense because it was only an image and not the head itself. In this mod, the player is using the head itself, so I guess the in-game explanation for this would be that these creatures are too strong for the gorgon's magic to affect them, but it still awakens some primal fear inside them and they are terrified.

    *a new AI pattern where the mob stops attacking and runs/flies away from the player, which overrides all other factors. So even if a player is riding a horse or dragon toward a guy with a gorgon head, the horse/dragon will ignore the player's controls and get the hell out of there

    Instead of having the quiver+gloves as a chestplate item, I think the glove should be an offhand item to replace the shield, and the quiver itself should be a chestplate item (but that would then go in a different suggestion I guess?).

    Griffins are half eagle and half lion, and hippogriffs are half eagle and half horse (or half horse and half griffin, depending on your source, but either way ends up looking like an eagle/horse hybrid).

    Eh there's already too many steels in Metallurgy, also I think they're trying to avoid direct references to specific fantasy shows/books. But maybe dragon breath could be used for desichalkos or something?

    I assumed that they would use their wings as arms when they walk, like the Skyrim dragons (and bats in real life).

    In that case, maybe have an option in the config to disable 3D armors for people who want to use Smart Moving?

    Also I'm not a coder so sorry if this is a stupid question, but would you experience the same problem with 3D rendered armor when using the Elytra as when you use Smart Moving? In both cases the player is in a non-default position and from what I understand, that's where the rendering problem comes from.

    Or maybe you could look into making a way to make 3D armor bind to different player models with PlayerAPI or something, idk.

    ill probably just turn pixies off in the config when they come out

    Anyway, I have some Ideas:

    If this comes out for 1.9 (or any version w/ the elytra), perhaps dragon trainers could teach their dragons how to fly

    Also, as far as dragons going rogue goes, perhaps if you don't teach them how to fly (maybe in this fashion) before stage 5, they get angry and try to destroy u (lol)

    Can the Elytra be crafted?

    I searched the internet and did not find much that was promising


    No, elytras are found in end dungeons.

    I mentioned that in an earlier post and I think raptorfarian said they might be re-doing the Enderdragon but they're not sure. I definitely hope so though.
