The villages look really nice (actually better than vanilla imo). The only problem is you get random anvils/enchantment tables spawning everywhere.

This is epic! I an literally hyped for Snapshots!
But, this breaks the mob addition pattern.
1.0 - mobs, 1.1, no mobs, 1.2 - mobs, 1.3 - no mobs, 1.4 - mobs, 1.5 - no mobs, 1.6 - mobs, 1.7 - no mobs, 1.8 - mobs, 1.9 - mobs.
I hope that doesn't mean 1.10 and 1.11 will have no new mobs... Or they're starting a new pattern where every update has mobs.

Not really, because there's a cool down between hits anyway so spamming 2 diamond swords would be as effective as 1.
Also Jeb said somewhere that you're only able to attack with your main hand.

Honestly, I'd be ok with dinosaurs if they made them fit in with Minecraft. No DNA or fossil reviving or any of that stuff, just dinos as new mobs you could find in the world. A lot of people are saying they wouldn't fit in with the game because they're extinct, but if you think about it, Minecraft isn't really Earth. It's just a world where some of the animals happen to look like blocky versions of Earth animals. Dinosaurs, or mobs that look like dinosaurs, don't have to be limited by what happened to them in real life.

May 16, 2015baddaspig posted a message on Dungeons in Minecraft and YouPosted in: News
My theories about dungeons:
The dungeons with spawners in them (mineshafts, dungeon rooms, nether fortresses, and strongholds) were built by the pigmen, since humans and testificates have not invented spawner technology yet. The pigmen are extinct now because when they discovered the nether, they were infected by the virus which wiped them all out, then spread to the overworld and killed most humans, causing the zombie apocalypse. Some humans survived because they were immune to the virus, these are the players today.
The desert wells, pyramids, and jungle temples were probably built by early humans or pigmen. Desert wells were definitely built by humans/pigmen because they look different from the wells in desert villages, so we know testificates didn't build them. As for pyramids and jungle temples, they use redstone for the traps and only humans and pigmen have knowledge of redstone.
Ocean temples I think were built by some sort of ancient underwater race (don't say mermaids, don't say mermaids) Mermaids? Stabs Discovery Channel guy in the throat no of course they weren't mermaids. Anyway, whoever these ancient sea people were, the guardians are obviously some kind of golem that these people made to protect their temple. The reason why I think they're golems is they seem to be made out of prismarine.

May 6, 2015baddaspig posted a message on Magic Arrows: Possible Secret Future Update?Posted in: News
Ok I'm gonna take a wild guess at what the new arrow types are.
Orange: incendiary, aka fire arrow. Probably lights blocks and/or mobs on fire (definitely blocks, because otherwise, the Flame enchantment would replace it).
Yellow: glowstone arrow. Idk maybe it will be used to place light wherever it lands? Could be useful for exploring caves. Maybe also if you hit a mob with it, the mob could get a yellow outline so it's like a tracer arrow. This would make hunting people down in PvP a lot easier.
Green: either poison arrow or slime arrow. I'm leaning towards poison because there is currently no poison enchantment, whereas a slime arrow would be basically the same thing as knockback.
Black: I've heard people say Wither arrow, but personally I think it will be explosive. Jeb has already stated that he doesn't want the Wither effect to be something players can use. Also a wither arrow would be kind of stupid because it's basically just a stronger form of poison arrow.

May 1, 2014baddaspig posted a message on 14w18a Snapshot OverviewMy new favorite survival challenge on servers will be to put someone on one of those slime/piston vehicles (idk what they're called), a hundred or so blocks above the ground, and just set it off in one direction. The idea is, eventually they'll either find an ocean to jump into, or a tall enough mountain that they won't die from fall damage, and try to survive wherever they land.Posted in: News

Disarming- Has a chance to make the enemy drop the item they're holding. Chance increases with higher level.
Icy Edge- Makes someone freeze for a few seconds (1.5 x what the enchantment level is), then be slow for a slightly longer time (4 x what the level is)
Vampiric- Makes the sword transfer a portion of the damage into health for its owner (so you're stealing health). It's a really small portion of health though. Level 1 vampirism steals 1/2 a heart, level 2 steals a full heart, etc. and the max is level 5, which steals 2 1/2 hearts.
Poison- Has a chance to poison the enemy. Chance increases with level, up to 5.
Hungry Blade- Has a chance to give the enemy food poisoning. Chance increases with level.
Headhunter- Makes the enemy have a big chance of dropping their head. Chance increases with level. This enchantment would have to be really rare, because of wither skeletons.
Pickaxes:
Fire Aspect- Yes, I know Fire Aspect already exists, but when put on a pick, it should have a chance of smelting the stuff it mines. Chance increases with level.
Icy Edge- Instead of freezing people, a pick with Icy Edge would freeze water or lava. Water would freeze into ice, lava would have a chance of either being cobble (most common), smooth stone (uncommon), or obsidian (rare). The higher the level, the less chance it has to lose durability from freezing stuff, and the higher chance it has to get obsidian or smoothstone.

This is a mod page for all of my mods. So far, I have the Quartz N' Steel mod, for 1.6.4.
Screw that.
This mod adds a new item, quartz and steel, and a new block, overworld quartz ore. Overworld quartz ore is just quartz ore in the overworld. To make it not overpowered, and to encourage nether travel, the overworld quartz is much rarer, as rare as gold. Quartz and steel is basically an upgraded flint and steel, with 4x more durability than normal flint and steel.

Resource Packs:
Llama Farmer made a patch for Sphax PureBDCraft for this mod. Check it out at http://bdcraft.net/c...7010.html#p7010
Note: In addition to texturing the stuff from the mod, it retextures vanilla quartz. In the PureBDCraft resource pack, quartz has a chunk of netherrack on it, to make it look like it came from the nether. Llama Farmer replaced that with a more dimensionally ambiguous white quartz crystal.
Well, this explains it pretty well: http://www.minecraft...ors-copyrights/
So unless you have permission from Mojang, don't redistribute any of my mods as your own. And there's no reason Mojang would let people copy other modders' work, so don't lie about it.
You may use any of my mods in modpacks, or make resource pack patches, or expansions for my mods, or anything as long as you credit me/my modding team as the maker of the mod.
And you legally don't have to tell me, but it would be kind of weird if you didn't, and also if you do tell me then I'll put a link to your page here.
So far these are the modpacks that include my mods:

2. I like the OverLoad mod pack, and I would like to find a good server to play it on.
3. My friends and I will make a village/community thing and live there.
4. 14.
5. Never.
6. I have been a good part of the community on other servers, helped the poor, reduced griefing, and generally made it a better place. Well, unless you griefed me. Then you were f*cked.
7. I don't think I could be an admin, I don't play every day since I have school and my modding team and other stuff.
8. I'm not an expert, but I have helped friends (usually younger kids) make servers before.
9. My brother Some_Guy987 and my friends Bricks_101, Forced_DarkLord, Cpt_Beatrix99, and Szybki_99 may also join the server. I know all of them in real life, and as far as I know they have never been banned or kicked from any server.

The first mod is EnderCreeper15's Tool Mod (EnderCreeper15 is my Minecraft name) It adds:
-Flint tools/weapons with the strength of iron, durability of (vanilla) wood
-Obsidian tools/weapons with the strength of stone, durability of 2x diamond
-Wooden tools get 2x durability, stone gets 1/2x
-Hardened stone tools made of smoothstone, durability of 1.5x (vanilla) stone
-Sandstone tools that are equal to (new) stone, as an alternative for lazy desert dwellers
-Bedrock tools, with infinite durability and 1.5x the strength of diamond, and able to mine bedrock. Obviously, nobody would ever be able to get it in legit survival, so it's more of a server/mapmaker thing.
-Nether quartz tools that are equal to iron, with about 25% more durability
-Emerald tools/armor that's just as enchantable as gold, and equally crappy
-New ores: Copper, Tin, Manganese, Arsenic, Iron will be made more rare
-All of these new ores will drop the ore block, so you need to smelt them
-Copper and tin as rare as (vanilla) iron, but iron made about 1.25x rarer
-Manganese as rare as (new) iron
-Arsenic as rare as gold, poisons you when mined/smelted/crafted into dust, so bring milk
-Copper and tin can be mined by a stone or better pick, manganese and arsenic need a bronze or better pick
-Ores can be crafted into 1 dust of that ore
-Dusts can be mixed in a crafting table for 2 alloy dusts
-Copper + tin = bronze
-Iron + manganese = steel
-Copper + arsenic = mithril + u get poisoned lol
-All non-leather (metal or diamond) armor will now get a recipe change
-For chestplates/pants, it's a leather tunic/pants surrounded by 8 metal/diamond
-For helms and boots, it's a leather cap/shoes surrounded by 4 metal/diamond
-It will still add up to 24 for a full set, but now leather will be actually useful
-The order of armor, from worst to best, will now be:
LEATHER --> COPPER or CHAIN --> BRONZE --> IRON --> STEEL--> MITHRIL --> DIAMOND
-Gold/emerald has been omitted for obvious reasons
-Although bronze is worse than iron, it'll only be like 1/2 of an armor point worse (so a full set would be 2 chestplate things less than a full set of iron, on the armor bar), still about equal. Someone using full bronze could still have a good chance against someone with full iron in a fight. Same thing with steel and mithril.
-Now, with tools, the stronger something is, doesn't mean it's better, because durability can vary. Here's the order of tool strength:
WOOD --> STONE or SANDSTONE or HARDENED STONE or OBSIDIAN --> COPPER ---> BRONZE --> IRON or FLINT or NETHER QUARTZ --> STEEL --> MITHRIL --> DIAMOND --> BEDROCK
-Bronze tools will be slightly slower than iron/flint, and do 1 less damage (1/2 a heart), but they're still about equal. Same thing with steel and mithril.
-Gold has been omitted for obvious reasons
-Iron picks will no longer mine diamond. You need steel or better.
-Bronze and better picks can mine all the stuff that (new) iron picks can mine.
-Now here's the order of durability:
FLINT --> STONE or SANDSTONE --> WOOD --> HARDENED STONE --> COPPER --> BRONZE --> IRON --> NETHER QUARTZ --> STEEL --> MITHRIL --> DIAMOND --> OBSIDIAN --> BEDROCK
The other mod is Quartz and Steel, it adds overworld quartz ore and a new item: quartz and steel, which is just flint and steel but with double durability. In real life, fire can be made using quartz or flint.
All I got done were the textures for both mods.

I don't know much Java, but I am good at texturing/modeling as well as thinking of ideas for mods and planning stuff. I also have a few unfinished mods from when I had a team, so we could work together on those (after we make that dimension mod you were talking about.)

Also, what does Bigfoot's existence have to do with it being included in a Minecraft mod? Creepers aren't real.

-Zombie players should look more zombielike, not just a player with half a zombie face. Ask skin makers to make "zombified" versions of their most popular skins.
-When zombie pigmen kill you, they should just turn your corpse into a regular zombie, not a zombie pigman. After all, zombie pigmen were pigmen that got infected, but players are human so they never were pigmen in the first place, so it doesn't really make sense.
-When a player dies from something other than a zombie, they leave a corpse instead of dropping all these items. Corpses can be right clicked to make them drop all the items, however. Corpses will rot away (despawn) after 10 minutes, the same time it takes for items to despawn. When the corpse just died, it will look like the player, after 3 minutes, it will look rotted, and after another 3 minutes, just the skeleton will be left.
-Slimes will "eat" the corpse, and inside them it will rot 10x as fast. After it rots, only the items will be left inside the slime. The slime will also crap out some bones and/or rotten flesh.
-When the corpse is in its "normal" or "rotted" phase, a zombie may come along and bite it, turning it into a zombie.
-Skeletons won't turn dead players into other skeletons, since skeletons aren't really a virus like zombies are. Skeletons get animated with, like, death magic or something. Instead, for a player to become a skeleton, the player's corpse has a chance of reviving as a skeleton in its "skeleton" phase. The chance is greater when the player died in the Nether, a swamp, or deep underground, because those are like generic evil magical places.
-Skeletal players won't look like the player's skin, because, you know, they're skeletons. All the flesh and clothes rotted. Just make them normal skeletons that have the player's items.
-When the player revives as a skeleton in the Nether, there's a chance of it being a wither skeleton.
You could also make an optional download/expansion with undead animals.
-Obviously, zombies will not attack animals, as that will cause too much ragequits when people find out that their horses got turned into zombies, or if one zombie spawned in their pigpen and now their farm is overrun.
-Animals will use the corpse system, so when you kill a pig or something, you'll have to right click it to harvest the bacon.
-Zombies will turn an animal's corpse into a zombie animal. A zombie animal's drops will be the same as a live animal, except all the meat products (beef, pork, and chicken) will be replaced with rotten flesh, and any other "organic" drops (feathers, wool, spider eyes/string, ghast tears, etc.) will be slightly reduced.
-Yes, there will be zombie creepers. And yes, anything hurt in their explosion will be infected automatically. Please excuse me as I hide in the closet with a diamond sword and curse the Notch that has forsaken us.
-All zombie animals will be hostile.
Edit: I just realized, that means there's zombie ghasts. Crap.

Also, your signature makes me want to kill you, resurrect you, just to kill you again, play My Little Pony dubstep at your funeral, then purge the entire internet with fire just because it had the atrocity that is your signature. However, that would get me banned or at least infractioned, so I'm just going to not say anything.

Lol. In game achievements. The entire point of sandbox games is for there to be no quests, levels, or anything to direct you to doing something, because you're supposed to do what you want. So yes, it would.Looking at this suggestion has renewed my support for the addition of the downvote button to the forums. Now, time to find that topic.
