any chance of a spawn egg for parkog? having a tough time finding them, and /summon command does not work...
edit: boy am i blind! never bothered to look in creative mode...
It's okay!
For future record, if you want to try the summon command again,
try both Parkog, and Amberdillo,
Because it may be different depending on your mod version
I already love this new mod, and the entities look like the coolest addition to Minecraft. I would love the helpless children in my world, and I want to download this mod already.
This unique mod adds a little bit of fun to Minecraft. It not only adds new mobs, but also new ores, and by extension new tools.
Please keep in mind this mod is in an early stage and is still under development. I’m constantly looking for new ways to put ores and stones to use to give the mod purpose. If you have any suggestions, comments, or feedback, please feel free to reply to this post, or pm me!
This mod’s main purpose is to add an array of tools, weapons, and armor (some of which are still “coming soon”) to Minecraft to make it more fun and interesting. When you eventually have several stacks of iron, and a good amount of diamonds, change can be good. In this mod you’ll find obsidian tools, and another set of diamond tools.
As you can see, there are not just regular tools. They’re a little… stronger… more powerful… you know what I mean. They’re crafted like any other tool (with obsidian as the material) and blaze rods instead of sticks.
Similar to how the obsidian tools work, these are made with diamonds and blaze rods. And yes, they’re better than diamond tools.
Above is naturally spawning peridot ore (y-level 50 and below). It must be mined with a harvest level 2+ (iron, peridot, or better) and will drop one peridot. It is (hopefully) slightly more rare than iron. Peridot, in its gem form, can be used to craft peridot tools, with either sticks, or blaze rods: The regular peridot tools have a couple hundred more uses and are just a little bit more efficient than iron.
This mod also adds a couple of completely random items I’m not going to go into detail with. These are just some fun, extra handy items I was playing around with and thought some people might enjoy… (creative only). It includes a vaporizer, and an entity mounter, both of which are self-explanatory. USE CAUTION WITH THESE ITEMS AS THEY MAY CRASH THE WORLD AND ARE FOR CREATIVE PURPOSES ONLY… SAVE YOUR WORLD!
Although not in this current version, I’d like to lay out some ideas for future releases to that I can get some feedback before/as I bring the updates!
-More stones, gems, and ores (and corresponding tools)
-Armor craftable with the stones and gems
-Special furnace to combine materials (such as peridot and diamond to create more tools)
Along with “stones” this add also adds some “bones,” if you know what I mean.
Running away from home, all this passive entity needs is a little love… and maybe some food…By feeding this entity some pieces of bread, you can make him love you! He will remove his dark hoodie and reveal his identity to you. From then on, he will follow you foreevveerrrr. You can make him stay by right clicking him (at which point he will throw his hands in the air to indicate this).Any angry grandmother that this child encounters, he will attempt to run away from.
This mob is exactly what she sounds like: a grandmother gone rogue. She moves at a snail’s space with the aid of her cane (also used as a beating stick). She has one goal in life: to find her missing child so she can give him a stern talking to! If she thinks that you (as the Minecraft player) get in the way, she will try to attack you. Note: because of the extreme sadness she feels for losing her child, she wails very often, and quite loudy. It is best to take down this mob or at least lure her away.
I would like to eventually add…
-Some chores for the child to do (like make things or fetch you items)
-A way to calm down the grandmother
-This passive grandmother will be able to also do nice things for you (like bake)
-More passive mobs; more hostile mobs
COMMANDS:
SetBlocks: This command is still a work in progress, so don't use it unless you're in an experimental world! "/setblocks stone" for example would take the current block you're looking at (for example planks) and change all planks touching that original block to stone!
KillEnts: Quick command to kill surrounding mobs. Using "/killents" will kill any living thing (not players...I hope) in a 20x20x20 block area. Or, you can use "/killents x y z" to specify the length, width and height of the killbox.
ClearGround: Used to clear a square of ground in front of the player. "/clearground x y z" will clear all blocks starting att the y-level the player is standing on, and extending left and right. The x, y, and z values determine how many blocks are cleared. For example, "/clearground 10 5 7" will clear a square 10 blocks in the "x" direction, 5 "y" and 7 "z". You can use the f3 function to tell which direction you're facing.

Like this mod?! Check out my first mod, Amberoguia, here:
Thank you very much for the suggestions, as I will take them into account as I attempt to improve the mod and add more ores.
I like the idea as using operon as a stepping stone to a more powerful ore... Perhaps maybe one that you can combine with diamonds to create even better tools.
When I finally decide what I'm doing, I'll let you know here
I've noticed that some people (including myself) are still playing 1.7.10, because not all mods have updated to 1.8.
I've decided that I'm also going to keep the 1.7.10 version of this mod up to date,
Starting with adding the recently added generated structure (the garden) to the 1.7.10 version.
However, the only thing the 1.7.10 version will be lacking, will be the Amberoguia biome, as I was never able to get that to work for MC 1.7.
Hi I'm a new fan to this awesome mod, and I just had a few questions about operon. What is the strength of operon in comparison to the other tools? Is it stronger than iron but weaker than diamond? Also, when you get around to answering this, you should include that in the details about that aspect of the mod for other newcomers
You are exactly right!
It's just a little better than iron.
And I appreciate your suggestion, and the next time I modify the post I'll include that!
I'm glad you love the mod! Enjoy!
If you have any suggestions or other feedback please feel free to let me know!
I must ask, did you create an account only for the purpose of that one post?
No, no, no. The modpack is distributed on the launchers. The users download it and i presume the mod file is downloaded and installed from your ad.fly links. I'm not actually sure how the launchers download all the mods, but I am assuming that is how it works.
Just released my mod spotlight for this mod! I'd love to see more mobs, as well as more plants. Lots of plants. Maybe some agricultural armor/weapons that come with enchantments already on them.
I am considering adding this to my modpack i will be distributing on various launchers. I would like to use the 1.7.10 version. Would that be OK?

I would prefer a private message to a forum reply...
And also
I would prefer that users are directed back to my adfly links if possible, but if this is the only way that you can distribute then I'm not going to say no.
I would like to announce that the Amberoguia Mod is officially fully compatible with the Plant Mega Pack. I understand we've had some issues, but they should be fixed. If you have any issues/questions/concerns, please message me, the author of Plant Mega Pack, or post to this thread. Enjoy!

Looks like an awesome mod!
Can I ask how did you create that title image for you post... where you added in the minecraft players in different poses?
