It's cool. Though actually I am fortunate to have a 9-5 job involving minecraft... I own a server hosting service. :smile.gif:

Hmmm... might want to make a signature about it. I mean, it wouldn't hurt would it? :wink.gif:

Not when they're getting PAID. But then, that would be called work... oh wait.

I've collected a total of $50 in donations. With that, I've done 8 updates with a total of over 100 hours of work. That's right, I make 50 cents an hour.

Please report this to your local programmers union. Oh, and I've had a fever the past week that was bad enough to have been causing me halucinations, but that can wait.

(That said, I forgive this comment on grounds he is most likely ignorant of the circumstances. I just want to put things in perspective)

Didn't mean you should be forced to do it because you got donations. It should be something you want to do out of the kindness of your own heart. The donations are a bonus, if anything.

I was was simply implying that programmers never slept because it's something they never do when they get paid to. As in work at a 9-5 job. And since this isn't your 9-5 job (I hope), I wouldn't expect you to lose sleep over having to update every time someone wanted something. Hence me answering his comment with sarcasm.

If you took my comment in a different way, then I apologize. Didn't mean to sound like a douche or anything.

Yeah, Dax wrote that update a year ago. He's pretty legit.

    Ahahaha. :Ham:

For a minute I thought the awesomeness of this mod broke the time-space continuum.

Makes the game look so delicious.

    :Frame: Tele Compass v1.2.6
This mod upgrades the compass so right clicking while it is selected on your inventory bar will teleport you to your spawn point. You can use this feature 32 times per compass before the compass breaks. If you right click while sneaking you will use up 8 of your charges and reassign your spawn point to your current location.

    Download: (requires Risugamis' modloader)
    http://seronis-mc-mods.googlecode.com/files/TeleCompass_v1.2.6.7z

    Oh. My. God.
Thanks so much for this mod! Can't wait to try it! :Diamond:

Ah, I see. :smile.gif: Fair enough. I can see how much of a pain in the butt it would be to match it, hehe. The terrain colors you use are spectacular. Thanks again!

Oh wow! Thanks for the update, DVan! Absolutely LOVE your texture pack, and it's the only one I keep going back to.

Have an awesome holiday as well! :smile.gif:

EDIT: DOH! Ran into a small bug. Seems like some of the blocks aren't rendering properly. I've tried it on a clean 1.2.6 client install only using the texture pack and xau's HD texture patcher as well.

Ninja'd by Atreyu! Gah... Let me make a different post one moment T_T

    LOL! Yay, me. :tongue.gif:

I agree with the savanna trees - they're awesome! I think the trees are a fantastic idea. Maybe have a variable go horizontal more as well as the thickness. It would be awesome to generate trees that have some ungodly "World Tree" look to it. Imagine the possibilities of actually building in or around it. Wow.

I think Bucyruss is actually aware of this and had mentioned that it wasn't working but that was a few updates ago, so can't be sure he is still aware.

I was able to generate cloud thickness and height just fine a few builds ago. But I've noticed something weird with them. They don't seem to be boxed correctly. Like the seams aren't matching up along the sides.

The error is telling you exactly the line you need to fix.
    java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp BiomeTerrainMod_SMP_v11_1.jar;minecraft_server.jar net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer

Make sure there's no return after minecraft_server.jar — it's all on one line. The installation from the first post is very, very easy. If you want to do it the easy way, just make a .bat file, stick it in the server folder and use it to launch the server with the appropriate extensions seperated by a ";"if you're using more than one mod. :smile.gif:

    @echo off
    java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp BiomeTerrainMod_SMP_v11_2.jar;minecraft_server.jar net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer nogui
    pause

posted a message on Share your BiomeTerrain Mod v10.x + Settings
Read the first post here. It explains all of the settings. And check out the picture at the bottom of the post that explains how biomes correspond to moisture and temperature values. It's a definite must to understand that chart. :smile.gif:

There's more discussion about the mod in this topic explaining it a bit more as well.

Those two topics are so precious to me. Seriously. But they should be invaluable to anyone using the mod, really.

And NaturalCauses, I'm so jealous of the "epicness" that is your terrains. I wish I can get the hang of this mod a bit more. I've just generated a very nice one I'll upload when I get some time to take screenshots again. Wish I had your skill at taking screenshots as well, lol. :smile.gif:

Alright, maybe I got it right this time (3rd times a charm?). Updated SSP to v11.2_2
    ...

I hopefully won't be traveling tomorrow and can get some more time to focus on this mod. Did I mention that the holiday season is hectic? :sad.gif:

Woohoo! Thanks for the update! Really, really appreciate it! :smile.gif:

Although I'd love an update for MP, take your time. It's hectic over here as well, so I know what you mean. LOL.

...We can share the glory of helping somebody together, shall we split it 50/50?

Nah. You can take all of the glory for that one. LOL.

One thing I forgot to mention to others that may be having issues...
Delete or back up your BiomeTerrainModSettings.ini and then have the mod create a new one for you. Or make sure you download the new one in the OP to make sure. You may be missing some settings that require the mod to read from — not to mention some erroneous entries.
