The solution to griefers is good server administration, not tyrannical limitations on new players entering the map. The game is meant to be free and limitless.
this is so true
enable voteban/votekick. i make the values pretty low since there are always 2+.
like 1 for kick. 2 for ban.
also. i just ask my players to type a message if somone is griefing. i just chill on my computer, playing tf2. checking the console every now and then for messages.
The second box seems to be trying to get a certificate from file://, a URL that does not even exist. That said, this is very likely not our fault, but instead a problem that Notch will need to fix.
This is very true.
I guess ill be waiting it out until they fix this :biggrin.gif:

You could press 1 (or any other number) then scroll through the selections.

Hopefully there is a reliable way to fix this. :wink.gif:
Im currently reinstalling and deleting the .cert files. Ill tell you if it works
EDIT:
Firefox - installing and deleting cert files do not work. After pressing ok once, another "unclickable" screen will show up.
Internet Explorer - installing and deleting the cert files do not work. The same bug happens. You cannot click the OK or CANCEL and IE freezes up.
ALSO: The box asking to accept the digital security doesn't close. I always have to close it from Task Manager.
