Update 1: Very Tiny Disk in the Sky!
Actual legit update today, sorry it took a while. This was due to not much happening in game (and i kinda sorta forgot...)
For Your Viewing Pleasure:
Last time we had the original opening theme, so i felt it would be appropriate to put in the English version of the opening theme! Its pretty easy to see how different it is from the original.
The Progress:
Like i said last time, my main goal was to expand the castle's dome, and build some trees and a cobblestone generator. However, before I could do this, I needed to go mining and get some stone to finish the next few layers of the disk and some iron and coal to start off with. Good thing I found a mineshaft underneath me! I love finding them, due to how easy they make it to cover ground, get free railroad tracks, and find a bunch of ore. Nothing can go wrong with this-
Oh. Well, someone else found this cave before me. He also happens to live in the area too! Kingcool9111 and a friend of his live somewhere in the jungle. Surprise! Time to go mine somewhere else i guess...
Diamondssssss~ <3
Right, now that I've gotten some
Cobblestone generator, a few furnaces, and a lot of dirt patches to plant trees. Not seen in this image is some chests I placed afterwards
Later, while I was building, suddenly-
Surprise guest visit! Everyone, say hi to Glomp, one of our server's
In addition, extra special guest, Llama! The server's
Its a well known scientific fact that llamas can fly.
After doing a flyby of the dome-in-progress, he decides to question my skill at planning! I assure all of you that i have tested this thoroughly, fear not!
After soothing his worries he decides to question my sanity instead
Iiiii don't really think i can argue against this one very much. Oh god the circles~
anywayyy....After a little more work, we'll be ending this update at this point here:
I decided to just finish the four arms of the dome all in one night so i wouldn't need to keep remembering the pattern. This shot was taken from the top of the last arm. However, as it is this is slightly inaccurate to my plans for the final build. In the Miyazaki movie you can see that the dome has a very small rim around the entire edge that people can walk on. It has a secret entrance to the interior of the dome. So later I'll be removing the top 3 blocks and make that section one or two blocks smaller. I'll hide a piston door somewhere there.
So far so good right?
Craaaaaaaaaap.....
The Next Step:
With the four arms finished, all that's left to do for the exterior is actually build the damn thing! this will take forever, so don't expect many thrilling updates for a while. I'll be post some mini updates partway through to show how far i'm getting, along with anything exciting that DOES happen. For example, I have a few utility mods i am plotting on downloading.
Thread Participation!
Due to a lack of excitement in the near future due to how boring making the dome is, I want YOU guys to add some excitement! Your mission: try to think of some small buildings, shrines, designs, art, etc that can be build inside the castle itself when we eventually get there or in the grassy field that covers the castle's large platform. post pictures of your idea, or descriptions, and I'll try to recreate it as best as i can. Winning suggestions will be placed in the castle with a sign giving credit to the creator
Additionally, last update's challenge is still open: Guess the final diameter of the dome! closest guess will win a prize!

What reason now targeting specially to this part? Already weeks ago has been know that Mod API will not part of 1.4 release. Mod API required very cerefully creating because it will be hard modified later when lot mods will base at it stability. What changes in world from delay of Mod API in any cases? Modders will creating mods in old way base at own hack code or base at forge mod API. So what problem? Just pointless waving...
