I need a few people to help me test a map that I just finished making. It should only take like 20 minutes, and your name, YouTube channel, or whatever you want will be included in the credits upon publishing the map. I'd prefer if you has Skype, but it's not required. if interested, simply join the server.
Do you have any experience?: Yes, I used to run my own server, but it has since dissolved as I lacked the time (no longer an issue) and money to maintain it. I have played since Alpha and know way too much about the core of both Minecraft and Bukkit for my own good. I have created several Mods and Plugins for myself, and for the servers that I have ran.
Do you have skype?: Yes
Are you willing to dedicate time to this server?: I could dedicate an average of 4 hours per day during the summer, and could average 1-2 per day once I begin college in the fall.
Are you experienced with plugins?: Yes, I have used most of the popular plugins to manage servers in the past, and my server ran a custom coded (by myself) plugin.
Do you understand that your main job will be to run the server?: Yes I do.
Why do you want to become Head-Admin? As a student, I can't afford to run a server with enough power to create a pleasant Minecraft experience. I also enjoy helping new players, and would like the ability to formally represent a server.
I'm not an experienced plugin developer, but I am a good Java developer, and have taken a look at the Bukkit API in the past. I am also a fan of UHC and love the game-play mechanics. I am a native speaking honors student currently majoring in CS and minoring in Mathematics.
I've just finished (I hope) a PvP arena and am looking for some people (preferably with skype) to help me test the map. It should take at most 20 mins, and you will be included in the credits after publishing the map.
