Some vanilla stuff looks great. Some vanilla stuff doesn't make me cringe. Some of it I can overlook. But I can never get over the interface screens like the inventory and crafting. They just feel very primitive to me, like they made sense when minecraft was nothing more than coloured blocks in creative mode. But now that we're knee deep in a world with lots of depth and an interface for each little contraption you can make, the whole interface feels like it is from that older simpler game. It's the reason I got into making textures. I really hope they decide to give it a visual once-over before they call it complete.

I don't think I'll be doing a christmas pack. I'll probably just do a few seasonal textures or run a contest. Something fun, but not a whole pack. We'll see.

Yeah, it's cheesy I'll admit. I love lame jokes so I'm never afraid to make them. I guess even "jolicraft" is cheesy in it's own right. I tossed around lots of names for the halloween version of jolicraft and it was the only one that stood the test of time. And hey, I've found that as long as you give it an attractive logo nobody second guesses your decisions :wink.gif:
