Andre, I love your work, but next time you should try submitting a *new* pack like the rest of us. I busted my butt making a 256x masterpiece and you swept me away because yours already had a loyal following. :/
Masterpiece! Wow.
Your submission was a modified version of a pack you already made, why can't mine be? Or is it the loyal following part you have a problem with? I'm sorry that I'm so loved. Don't feel bad. I've always made people jealous of how popular and respected I am. Tell you what, let's do a trade! I'll teach you how to win friends, and you teach me how to make textures for my next masterpiece. Deal?

- Added missing inventory items (don't know why I missed them, sorry about that!).

Cool. I'll give some different flavors of download when the pack is 'done', but I'm sure folks will appreciate the alternate terrain in the meantime.
I love your house!
Those beds with the bottom frame look great when placed against the wood panel blocks. Good call!
Looks good. But it's a little too 'default' feeling. Stay tuned for an official biome release. And I really hope the devs fix the sidegrass soon. Looks retarded having different hues of green next to each other.
Cool. Updating the items is on my todo list btw. I'll sell you on the lighter gui yet!
Sorry, I know mediafire sucks for some folks (not me, I've never had a problem downloading). When the pack is in a somewhat stable state I'll provide several mirrors for download.

Hey thanks! And I didn't make the vids, they were posted earlier in the thread. I think it's a server, so you could potentially join.
Thanks! Beds done.
You're welcome! And maybe on the pumpkins. I'll keep it on the backburner.
Message sent. Hey I'm supposed to help my brother move on March 23rd at 4:30pm, but I don't have my planner with me. Could you give me a call at 3:30 to remind me? Thanks! -Andre
That's weird. They're pretty different tones & hues. Are you sure your glasses aren't smudgy?
Glad someone finally noticed the cake bomb.
Yeah you'll have to update your minecraft, then re-apply the texture pack with the patcher. The patcher has been updated so it should work fine now.
Yeah I just found that those other glass textures just looked a little too 'doku' for my own pack. But I do like them too, that's why I left them there. And the other iron door was cool too, but there's some weird tiling issues that happen on the side of the door that I could never fix, so I stuck with the solid door.
Your wait is over my friend. Enjoy.
Awesome, glad you're enjoying it!
Just a few new textures to do, no big. Enjoy the bed!
No problem.
Are any of them single females?
Me & Tim have the same haircut.
Many thanks! And yeah I'm not much for technical support. I'm hoping to have easily downloadable 'flavors' of the pack when it's 'finished', so if you want alts and you don't want to dig through the zip to find & rename them, you'll probably have to wait patiently.
Enjoy 1.3 folks! Let me know if there's anything amiss.

Coming soon!
Yes. I'm going to release my world map at some point in my other thread (Jolicraft, check my sig). Not for a while though, I want to polish it up :wink.gif:

Well then thanks for taking the time, happy to oblige!
Yes!
Why would you want to go back to default when there's Jolicraft?
Thanks friend!
Well then you're in luck, because the circle gui is just an alternate (the wonky square blocks are the default), and the zombie with a tie is also in there as an alternate. Just look at my main post instructions on how to toggle the alts.
I'm hoping to add just a bit more awesomeness, so watch the thread for updates.
Thanks! And I agree, the lava will get a miner facelift.
Different strokes for different folks. I chose the colours based on my own preferences, but obviously everyone has different tastes and it's impossible to please everyone. I'd love to have a texture pack customizer like The Painterly Pack has, so I could accommodate everyone's preferences. But that's lots of work and I don't know how :sad.gif:

Yeah mine too. I haven't come up with a hud I like more than the wonky one.
Yeah I remember those. I do like them. I actually started with a concept like that, just the nice simple varied plain blue with subtle ripples and shimmers fading in & out, but after a night of toiling my animated water just looked like the default animated water but with a hue change (which I could have done in 4 seconds). I'm not entirely happy with the water yet though. I love the current water texture, I just need to find the right way to animate it.

Oh yeah I forgot I changed that, thanks for the feedback.

Added SLIGHT sidegrass. Anymore and it wouldn't be Jolicraft!
Beat me to it. I just changed the outfit. Yeah, shirt & ties made no sense. I don't know why I did that. I think I had left4dead 2 on the brain.
Dear companies, please give me money to make Jolicraft. Thank you. -Andre
Thanks man. Nah, I didn't have it done in time for the contest. I had a primitive version of terrain.png done just in time for the contest end, but I wanted to spend time polishing it. And I'm glad I did, I ended up changing all the blocks and it looks 10x better now that I've given it the proper attention.

· New Tic-Tac-Toe cake texture (with explosive surprise)
· New zombie (why did I think shirt+tie was ever a good idea?)
· Monster spawner
· Added a tiny bit of sidegrass - By popular demand. But that's all you're going to get! And if anyone else asks for more sidegrass I'm quitting minecraft forever.
· New Mossy Cobblestone
· Misc icon & gui tweaks
· Added alternate gui -circles instead of wonky squares. This is actually the GUI I started making Jolicraft with, but I always thought it wasn't original enough. But it's in there as gui_alt for anyone who wants to try it.

Yeah I'm not 100% happy with it. I was trying to go for a gentle sloshing back & forth effect, but it's not great. I'll probably take another attempt with a different approach, see how it goes. Someday.
Good call, I'll get some custom sigs up in my main post shortly.
That's bedrock, and you can't break it. The screenshot is from my test world, where I used an inventory editor to give myself all the blocks so I could see how they tile. In the game, you can't ever have them in your inventory.
Good!
Many thanks!

I actually didn't know there was chainmail until I saw that. I'll come up with something for that.
Awesome thanks!
Glad to know the animated water is going over well, I wasn't quite sure if folks would like it.
Thanks! And I agree about the biomes. I'll do a custom biome colouration soon.
And to the folks who are having wildgrass problems, I'm really not sure what to suggest. I'm not good at troubleshooting these problems. Maybe post your issues in the threads I've linked for folks to help you? (make sure you read the whole first post, they yell at you if you don't). All I can say is that you can apply WildGrass, MCpatcher, and Betterlight/Bettergrass and have them all running at the same time, because that's how my game is setup. You may need to do things in a specific order but I'm not sure. So uh... Good luck!

PLEASE DON'T STOP MAKING YOUR CLIPS! I love them, you make great music choices, and they show exactly the right stuff. I'll put them all in my OP very soon. I'd love for you to give another tour when the pack is 'complete' (which it should be soon).
Nice, happy to brighten/darken your day when appropriate :wink.gif:
Sorry, probably not. That's exactly the effect I was going for, a sort of clay like stone, something soft and carveable. The colours I've chosen have been painstakingly selected to work togethe. But if I ever do "flavours" of the pack I'll definitely use your suggestion, many have asked for the same thing. In the meantime, try and enjoy the clay/stone!
No problem, enjoy!
The problem is that you don't need to extract the zip, you just place the zip in your texture packs folder and the game will detect the zip.
Although, I'd suggest using my "advanced installation" instructions if you can figure it out. The game looks way better if you use the texture patcher I've linked in the instructions. But that's a little more complex.
Thanks from a Canadian dude.

Oh sorry I didn't know who made those tools. I grabbed them from another pack, I thought they were frenden's but i got mixed up. They're just temporary for now. But I've credited you now, sorry bout that. Love the pixel work in them btw!
No problem, enjoy! Next up, animated lava.
