Okay, thanks for the help guys (and girls), i'll try everything you've suggested at the earliest possible time I can get the items I need.

I have tried multiple times to reboot it, only to be stuck at the command prompt screen. I also failed to mention this but about 5 hours before this happened the laptop dropped about 2 1/2 feet onto the ground, I checked the outside, and everything seemed to be intact, and i have even unplugged the Hard Drive and reinserted it (while computer was off, and after the crash). I am also running an "express" scan that is notifying me of problems in the testing blocks of the SATA Disk;

Error Code 0F00:1332.
Interrupt Request (IRQ) did not set in time.

Hi, I recently bought a used laptop from a friend - so no warranty - and today my screen randomly froze and started playing a continuous noise, like what it does in a Blue Screen moment. After trying everything like Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Ctrl + Shift + Esc, I manually shut off the laptop and turned it back on. it went through the Dell BIOS screen fine, then when it went to the command prompt window to start up Window 7, it just sat there with the blinking underscore.

I tried going into the Diagnosis, and ran all of the tests, the first time i tried nothing happened, and then the second time it said something about a HDD malfunction (it went by too fast to read). I do not have a Windows 7 reinstall or boot disc, as my friend could not find hers.
I was wondering if anyone knows what this could be, and what i can do to fix it.

Dell Inspiron 1545
RAM: 3GB
HDD: unknown size, cannot remember. (possibly 300GB)

Minecraft Doku Theme

I recently released my first theme on Cydia based of of the famous (and amazing) texture pack Dokucraft.
after updating my theme and seeing that there were over 100 people that downloaded it in a span of 3 days , i decided to make a forum post for this (also because to get some parts of the theme you need a bit of instructions)


Adding a folder background/multitask bakground

in order to get the background on the folders like i have in this image, you need to do a bit of stuff with iFile.


(This only works with 4.2.1 and above!)
1: open iFile and go to /var/mobile/library/caches
2: you will find four files named:
-com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen.0
-com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen.1
-com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen.2
-com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen.3

3: you can either delete them, or rename them to 4, 5, 6 & 7, in-case you need them later.
4:refresh winterboard and you are set!

what i meant is should the server have been up if the protections werent working, i just didnt want to go into detail for the sake of griefers reading what i said.

Umm... Should the server really be up if (you know what admins) arent working?

Did the server crash? or is it my internet :/

You need to clear your pagefile.

If that does not work you need to extract a new explorer.exe from your vista install disk.

If both of those do not work, you need to create a new user profile and migrate everything over to the new one, then delete your old one. (Basically create a new user, delete the old user)

Google can help with all of these. These are the only ways to fix said problem.



It's a common problem in vista (and to a lesser extent win7) when the pagefile either gets corrupted, the user profile gets corrupted, or the hard drive is dying.

Using any programs that shut off unnecessary processes? (like gboost or game booster, they might have affected something.)

Check for viruses.

I've been having a lot of problems with my vista lately, whenever i try to delete, copy, move, or rename a file, Windows Explorer crashes, and i have to restart it, any ideas?
