I thought for a second that this seed would spawn me in a lava pool, but it looks good. (Not what I'm after currently)

Sorry, they aren't in the game. Don't worry, there's a chance they'll be added in a future update (The next is on halloween). But if you're really that intent on finding one, download a mod that adds them, or show some support to the topics suggesting jungle villages.

It's simple, when creating a new world go on "more world options." You should find yourself on a screen with some options like cheats and stuff, including a box where you type the seed. Once you type it in, click create new world. Done.

Just don't ask how to install mods, ok?

So anyway, that's an interesting seed. I remember a seed that gamechap and bertie explored once that was very similar to this. A stronghold end portal room in a lake/ocean.

I have a problem too, it says that I need a fresh jar but I've force updated and even gotten a fresh .minecraft folder. Repost on the topic.

This sure is useful. I'm hoping to downdate to 1.7.3 to try out some things.

It won't patch my game. It says to make sure I have an unmodified, fresh jar. I've force updated 4 times now and it still says this.

Alright, I've deleted the .minecraft and redownloaded the game. Still it won't work. WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH THIS ****ING PIECE OF ****.

Seeing as everyone wants to see Vechs in the situations we all have been in on his maps, let's start another common one.

What would he do in a cave with 5 ghasts, hordes of skeletons and a deadly river of lava?

Ugh.... I made a horribly stupid mistake earlier. I was getting crash errors because I forgot to empty my old mods folder, which had extra biomes XL and some other things.

Minecraft has always needed it and will have it, at the very least it will be added around 1.4. I've heard this from someone who almost literally stalks Jeb and Notch on twitter and knows almost everything (He predicted coloured planks in 1.1 and the LAN feature just before 1.2). This friend of mine knows that if the red dragon is ever added, it will come with dragon armor + dragon swords, just like a mod. Wanna hear something else? He also predicted the ender dragon getting bigger and harder, breathing fire and being tameable (Throwing eye of enders around the end to tame it, then climbing up its tail). The ender dragon egg may be used to spawn the red dragon in dragon lairs or at the top of giant mountains.

Now, I know that %60 of everyone reading this won't believe this, but I don't care what you have to say to me, nor will I even see your post.

Anyway, the skylands idea is decent, along with griffens. Let's hope this thread keeps getting support.

The minecraft community has recieved heavy discrimination from cod fanboys (Almost said faggots) and roblox fans alike, but who is our worst enemy? Use the poll and post your opinions.

I can see what you want for your server. You want your server to be a factions server with a medieval setting, and a central city with mines/farms that operate like the ones in the KDC (Killion detention centre server). I say you could put up a ranking system like pilgrim, farmer, miner, ect. So certain ranks aren't allowed outside the city until knight or traveller rank (But don't base all this on donating). For bases and such, I have an idea for that. To prevent annoying builds and ruined bases that take up space, simply disallow building with adventure mode. People could purchase bases for their clans/factions. These bases could be made by you, or admins. The way enemy factions take these bases down is to find the base and overpower it, using a factions power system (Which is in the most common factions plugin out there).

As for mass pvp, I suggest regular events such as wars/battles between many factions, which take place in some random place in the map, which would have plugins stopping anyone trying to escape (There would only be medium-sized factions in the conflicts, with a max of 4+ players in the faction online for the faction to take part). Whichever faction is left standing will recieve a prize, which might be a nice amount of in-game money or items, or even a base.

When I'm bored I might download an adventure map, mod or texture pack if I have the time. I sometimes also make my own villages, I'll make a bunch of unique houses then spawn two villagers for an artificial village.

This mod is amazing! %101 support! I love obsidian anyway, I made a castle out of it. I'm trying to install it but the game crashes everytime I load/make a world. You said that the dimension api thing was with the files that I downloaded. Is that the problem?

Oh, and for the forge thing: Make a version of the mod designed for forge and a version designed for modloader.

I see people are talking about their super hostile map acheivements, like deaths and stuff. I've played all the super hostile maps, apart from sunburn islands and black desert. I've completed most of them, apart from nightmare realm... I died near the start BTW. I loved the black library in spellbound caves (Seriously, it's epic). I can't wait for fallen kingdom, black desert 2 and canopy carnage 2.
