This could be a new dimension instead. But i also think this would be a great world type option. I guess this could be a world type and a dimension.

posted a message on Talismans or non-light based monster repellant.
There isnt much of a point of this. If you want to make good builds make a creative world and do whatever there. The monsters dont bother you in this mode. Survival is for surviving and fighting monsters, so whats the point of repellants in a mode that people dont make builds in? But i guess i understand when your making a shelter or a mansion to seek refuge from monsters. I guess im half supporting this and half disagreeing.

posted a message on Natural disasters?
I wasnt saying make minecraft into reallifecraft, it just needs natural disasters. Or, a new disaster could be invented, to do with minecrafts feel, maybe a disaster to do with blocks? But of course this would still be only in hardcore mode. Im sure only one made-up disaster wont make minecraft get too crazy or realistic.

posted a message on Villagers imprisoned in cages
Since villagers are complete morons most of the time i think no one would let them out of the cages and just taunt them. Other than that i think villagers leading you to villages is a good idea.

    Quote from Repulsive240

I dislike people like this who think to hard for ideas. something like this will never be added due to the fact its just not fit for minecraft. When you think of the game what do you see? Squatres. International rain/timezones. Biomes silly animals and mobs. Complicated crafting. Anything along the lines those things, as long as its not stupid, would work better.

Lets face it. Minecraft needs a tad bit more realism and this would make it a bit more challenging for hardcore players. Perhaps these could occur rarely in hard mode and occur normally in hardcore mode. These could never occur in normal, easy and peaceful so some people can relax without the worry that a tornado will tear appart their house.

Instead of villagers in them, why not explorers? They could light up the place with torches and would allow you to trade items with them. They would also attack hostile mobs. I prefer explorers because villagers are currently quite stupid, and once they spawn theyll just get stuck in cobwebs and be killed by zombies.

posted a message on Boss ideas!
We need more bosses in minecraft! The enderdragon isnt enough to satisfy us. Ive come up with a few ideas for bosses, i may need improving on them so suggest stuff below. I havent thought of rewards for killing these bosses yet, so help me out and suggest some rewards below.

    OVERWORLD BOSSES:
Because of all these biomes there can be multiple bosses in this dimension, so heres a list of ideas.

    Ocean boss:
Perhaps a gigantic squid or octopus? The battle area would be a floating platform, with a large hole in the middle. The squids head could rise up out of the hole and attack with tentacles. These could grab you and throw you into the air, and if you hit the platform when you fall back down, this would cause a load of damage. Another attack could be the boss hitting you with the tentacles (quite obvious). When near low health, it will attack more frequently and use another obvious attack, shooting ink at you. This wouldnt cause damage but it could cause your screen to be splattered with ink. This affect would wear off after 5 secs. You would have to kill this boss by attacking with swords, bows or even fishing rods. Fishing rods deal more damage to this than swords and bows.

Death scene: it sinks back into the ocean and tons of exp would fly out onto the platform.

    Desert boss:
Ive been thinking of a boss like this for a long time, and id like to see this in minecraft. A giant worm, capable of destroying dirt, sand, clay and other weak materials. It would charge at you, probably its only attack. This would cause alot of damage. (dont worry about it being overpowered, it would be clumsy, AKA stupid, and less likely to hit you) The battle would begin when you approach a desert well and step inside the water in it. Or it could start if you damage it in any way. The boss would chase you everywhere, even out of the desert biome. But it would be damaged by water slightly if it went through it. You would have to kill this thing by attacking with swords, bows, buckets of water and buckets of lava. Yes you know what im saying. Kill it by getting it wet with water or make it tunnel into lava.

Death scene: It explodes into pieces and loads of exp would fly out from these pieces

    Stronghold boss:
Strongholds need to be more challenging. Perhaps an enderguardian? It would have purple streaks running across it and more of an aura around it. It would be able to teleport like an enderman, but it could have a long, sharp purplish black sword. It would attack by charging and swinging this sword. As you get close to the end portal room, the battle would begin. It would run at you as you walk through the corridors. It would be more determined, it would run at you faster and would chase you everywhere, even if you exit the stronghold via caves running through it. But it would give up if you got to the surface. You would have to attack this by using swords or water buckets. If you were to get it wet, it would jump away from the water and be stunned for a second. This would give you time to attack.

Death scene: It sinks or melts into the floor, screeching and would throw its sword at you to attempt to kill you with it. If this doesnt kill you, then it will sink into a blank puddle. This would stay around for 1 minecraft day. It would drop 2 eye of enders and alot of exp. Its sword would be a retrievable item, called the enderblade. This would allow you to teleport by clicking the left and right mouse buttons at the same time. You would teleport to where it is pointing. This sword does minimal damage to endermen, but it does a load of damage to any other mobs.

    NETHER BOSSES:
Now these are the nether bosses. I only have one here listed though, i ran out of ideas for these.

    Nether fortress boss:
Aside from blazes, ghasts and zombie pigmen, we need a new mob. A boss mob for the nether. I suggest the nether lizard. It would be 10 blocks long and could climb on any block. It would often climb on a wall or ceiling.
The battle would begin once you find a room with a few eggs in a red nest. Approaching it would cause the lizard to come out of a hole in the ceiling. It would drop in front of its nest and hiss at you for 10 seconds. Then it would jump at you and attack. Its main attack would be charging, but it would also scratch you with claws. When at low health, it begins to shoot fireballs at you. These would set you on fire but not cause alot of additional damage. You would attack this with swords and bows, but bows wouldnt cause much damage to it.

Death scene: It screeches and drops dead, then bursts into flames. A load of exp would shower around you. It would drop magma boots, which cant defend you like armor but allows you to walk on lava. It would also reduce damage from fire. These would turn into hard stone boots when you enter water while wearing them. They would slow you down, but would last long and would defend you a bit better than iron boots, but weaker than diamond boots. They would be called ironstone boots. (PLEASE SUGGEST BETTER NAMES FOR THE DAMN BOOTS!)

So leave any suggestions for other item drops, more bosses and battle areas.

I wasnt saying get rid of the graphics options, i was saying ordinary clouds in fast and fancy. Not changing the leafs, not changing the sun or the mobs. JUST the clouds. Absolutely nothing else.

posted a message on Rare biomes in minecraft.
Dont you know basins are already in the game? Theyre basically the same thing you just suggested. (the rock biome bit)

And you do know that skylands are gonna be added sooner or later, so whole biomes of clouds isnt really going to be needed. But perhaps there could be rare islands floating above the clouds, and they could be like strongholds.

As for the far lands island thing, i dont think there should be islands like that. If anyone looking at images of minecraft would see an image of one of these, they would begin to think minecraft it full of glitches and messy island things.

But i agree with the cloud biomes part, perhaps they could be smaller than strongholds and could have chests containing goodies.
Maybe golden apples and more commonly music discs.

Isnt notch gonna add the skylands in a future update?

And instead of the thing you suggested, what about a sort of gigantic worm thing, maybe it could fly around the area where you fight it and charge at you? But i guess mojang would have a load of trouble designing it, due to the size of the boss.

posted a message on Realistic clouds in fast graphics!
How many of you have ever looked up at the real sky, and then at the sky in minecraft? Many of you have probably noticed that the clouds dont really look like the ones in real life. Sure you can switch it to fancy graphics to make the clouds realistic, but some folks computers cant handle this. So my suggestion is, include these realistic clouds in fast and fancy graphics! The only reason i ever switch it to fancy graphics is to see those lovely clouds, and most of you probably do the same. So what do you think? Talk about your thoughts below.
