I can't find it in any of my effin folders, and when I search for it nothing shows up. I've reached it before, as I had downloaded NEI mod into my bin, but now its gone. I even downloaded minecraft again and still nothing. Where would it be? How can I get it back?
is it possible to make a zero-gravity minecraft setting so when I enter a specific room there is no more up and down and I cant maneuver myself unless I kick off walls to send myself in a different direction. Also where the orientation can be whatever you please, like I can be looking at something I perceive to be upside down but they perceive me to be upside down
I want to make a gametype for the popular book "Enders Game" which involves the battle room. The battle room is this huge room where two teams have to shoot and freeze the other opponents with lasers (guns). The fun part is that there is no gravity in the room and the only way to get from location to location is by kicking off walls. Is the idea of null-g even possible in minecraft where you can have any orientation you want (My character looks upside down to another character because there is technically no up or down anymore) and the moving around by pushing off of walls?
Don't know if this is too far off-topic, but we have been talking about different mods so here goes... If you have read the book Enders Game then you know what the battle room is. If not I recommend looking at a thread I made to highlight this game in the book. It should still be on the front page for now... or else check out my account. Also I am hoping that somebody can make this game-mode come to fruition as I am not a modder, but maybe to pass the time while waiting for the betweenlands somebody can make this fantastic game mode for the minecraft.
If any of you have read the book Enders Game by Orson Scott Card, then you know what this is without really reading any further. If you haven't head the pleasure of reading this book, then I definitely recommend you read it! To sum it up though, Ender has to go into this huge cube room that is completely hollow. Once he enters that point, all gravity is gone. He maneuvers by kicking off of the walls so its basically all angles to figure out how he can get from point a to point b. So the game is that one team enters on one side and the other on the other side. Its basically a team deathmatch in null-g with these lasers that can freeze the enemy so they can no longer move around. Once the enemy team has been eliminated, there are these gates on the opposite side that they entered that requires 5 people to be alive so it can be opened. I feel like with the right person that this game can be made on the minecraft platform. I'm not a Modder by any means so I have no idea where to even begin, but im hoping one of you can recognize a winning game mode when you see one and pick this up and try to make it. The most essential ideas are that its in null-g in a massive hollow cube with dim lights floating around the battle room. These represent stars. Also they have to kick off the walls to maneuver around. The weapons are guns, not swords.
Before anybody says use the search tool, I have. Everything I have checked does not work, it results in a black screen. So does anybody know how I can download this mod.
That's not going to work. The mod is finished when it's finished. I've slowly learned that asking about it won't make it be finished any sooner. Although MrCompost did say at the cancellation of the Christmas Surprise that regular snapshots would be released.
