1) In game name: xAlicatt is my main account, I have also have Alicatt, PurpleLulu and Erikalia
2) Discord username (not mandatory, but recommended):
3) Age: 33
4) What you want in a Minecraft server: friendly community, mostly vanilla, economy is nice too cause I like to build epic things
5) Why you want to join: Looking for somewhere to start fresh...Haven't played vanilla much in a really long time. Have been mostly playing modded for the past 2 years.
My computer pooped out on me since I made that post, but when I get it fixed in a few days, I will load up the mod and make some screenshots. I would volunteer myself, but I'm honestly not sure I have the skills needed to help much. You probably would want to find somebody who can do custom models too anyway, and that's definitely outside my skillset.
I want to join your community because: I'm trying to find a good multiplayer server with a good community to play on.
My best friends would describe me as being: Creative and chatty
I have played Minecraft since: Early Beta on Java edition. I have the most experience with town-based community survival servers and modded.
My favorite thing to do in Minecraft is: Building!
When I'm bored in Minecraft I like to: Explore
The number of realms I am a member of is: Currently 0, though I have put in apps in a couple of other places.
My current experience with Minecraft multi-player is: Extensive. I've run multiple servers of my own, been admin/moderator/helper on many more, and an active, high-participation community member on a few others.
Some examples of my work: https://alicatt.imgur.com/ Everything posted here was created from scratch or adapted to my own style inspired by other's work (though most are completely original).
I mean this with the deepest respect, seeing as i could never hope to develop mods myself...but you really need to partner with a texture artist. The "look" of this mod is the main thing turning me off from putting it in my pack.
The Biome IDs and the number of trees per chunk are configurable - by default it's set at 0.2 trees per chunk in flower forest biomes. You set can a biome list and/or change the frequency - I have a list of biome names here.
The other trees I might come back to another day, but there's already an effort to port TF to 1.11 so I don't want to tread on their toes too much. For now this is just a rainbow trees mod.
So as far as CurseForge goes, I'm happpy to publish it - I'm sure other people might like a little bit of Twilight Forest in their life I just didn't want it to fall flat on it's **** and then have to publish another version to fix it
And again, you're welcome I know it's been a while but I remembered your post and when TF got open sourced I thought "I got this..."
The LGPL license should be enough to get it on the CurseForge 3rd party mod list - and just in case they ask the Twilight Forest mod which I "borrowed" some code and textures from is also now LGPL as per Benimatic's GitHub - but for the avoidance of any doubt you have my permission to include it in modpacks
I'm happy to upload it to CurseForge if it's working as you wanted, or if there are any tweaks you'd like me to make let me know and I can do those first

I haven't had a chance to look at the config file, but from what I can tell just adding it to my pack and checking it out, seems exactly what I was looking for. I'm at work right now, so I can't check myself--is there an option in the config to add biome ids and frequency per id? That's something I would love to see if possible, if it's not too much trouble.
Also would be cool to have the other TF trees (Twilight Canopy & Twilight OAK especially) added with at least a rare chance to spawn in loot chests. I don't care anything about having the special effects of the time tree /etc, but it would be nice to have them for cosmetic reasons. Obviously if these things are a lot of trouble, it's not a big deal. Just getting my rainbow Oaks is awesome enough on its own.
Other than that... Yes, if it's something you want to do, putting it on curseforge would be awesome! Heck you'll probably have it up before they get around to approving it for the 3rd party list.
Thank u again soooooo much for doing this! I know for a fact I'm not the only person who misses this tree. It's extremely unique in the modding community.
I've made them spawn rarely in flower forests, and I've added saplings to chest loot for village blacksmiths, dungeons and stronghold libaries, but I've also made the worldgen and the loot configurable.
Any questions or comments, please let me know
I have submitted this mod to the Curseforge modpack approved 3rd party modlist. I'm *fairly* certain that the open sourced licenses will be enough for approval, but it would be helpful to have an actual post/comment I can link to with permission directly from the mod author. Or if you had plans to upload it to curseforge that would be even better.

omg you're my hero!!!!!!! Checking now! Thank you <3
WHen I click on the "world generation manager" and "in game config manager" buttons they both are showing two options:
Override default workbench - true/false
segments per packet - default 10
Halp?
Edit: Looking at the console, I'm being spammed with the following upon clicking the generation manager button only:

I'm looking to get permission to port JUST the Rainbow Oak (and perhaps Twilight Canopy and Twilight Oak) tree to a standalone mod. Obviously generous credit would be given and people would be directed here for the full mod. I lovvvve the trees in this mod, but I've moved on to 1.10 modpacks, and I would love to still be able to use these trees.
Please see the thread where I have posted about this topic for more info:
Also, if anyone is interested in coding a NEW mod that adds trees that behave like these, I can see about providing textures or obtaining permissions to use textures for them. Thanks for looking!

Where are you seeing a 1.14 download for Clear Despawn? https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/clear-despawn

Sometime between yesterday and today, Thaumcraft has completely poofed from Github. This is foreboding.

Just bumping this. I had a dev contact me, but haven't heard back in a while.

I will look into contacting the TF people and see if I can obtain permission for this. Thank you for the response
