I believe I have found a brand-new device (I'll call it for now). I call it the CANDOR device and it was made mainly for computers but could also be used for other functions. I'm still relatively new to the forum so if someone could tell me what else to add that would be great.
I just realized that video sucked. I'll make a new one.

Speaking as a mod-developer I am relatively scared of what is coming to us. Getting the Mod-API has a potential of killing the current well-designed Community-APIs, like Modloader and MCP.
The development of a local server for running Singleplayer is from my point of view a terrible Idea either: Many great Mods were initially invented because of the easy client-side Programming. Now every modder with a new idea will have to invent a Client-Server Architecture even for the the very basic of his Mod.

Are there any known bugs concerning AND gates, RS latches and/or one-tick pulses?
In my PDP-8 project I have a lot of RS latches driven by one-tick clock pulses via AND gates. If I'm not extremely careful about the placement of components, whenever the world is reloaded, some of the AND gates malfunction and fail to flip the latch in response to a pulse. Breaking and replacing the gate seems to fix it, until the next time the world is reloaded, whereupon the problem recurs.
Sometimes I can eliminate the problem by moving the gate to a slightly different position, but I'm rapidly becoming fed up with having to fiddle around like this. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to which positions work and which don't. At first I thought it was related to the gate being on a block boundary, but some cases don't fit that pattern.
Has anyone else encountered anything like this?

I'm not sure... right now I've been so overwhelmed that I haven't even been able to read the website comments in weeks (although after pr4e I may give it another try). At least here I can catch up quickly enough.
