I wanted to post a pic of my end result, but I'm unsure of how to do it ><
so in the end I filled the gold up to the top, minus one block. I was one gold away from having the final block
I got the BEST ending
I got the parkour block, but I only managed to save 6 villagers out of 8 =/ I'm stumped as to where the other two were located!
overall, this was THE BEST map I've ever played. mainly because I was actually able to complete it instead of getting frustrated when things stop working/I get stuck and stop playing forever. I actually have an 18 month old son, so it's incredibly difficult for me to actually pay attention to something for an extended period of time, but it was relatively easy to complete this and keep an eye on him haha again, this was SO much fun! I even got a little emotional when I had to "sacrifice" the villagers that I saved lol xD
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK! I can't wait to play Soul Cauldron!!!!
Hello! I'm absolutely loving this map!! I just had a question..I'm near the end, about to clear the path to rebuild the minecart path and I read the sign saying to put all of my saved villagers in my "save chest". I'm not sure if the save chest is the ender chest or the one next to it? I just wanna do this all correctly haha
thank you so much!!
JUST KIDDING! I figured out how Ender Chests worked hahhhh..yeah lol xD
loved this map! I was pretty good at jumping puzzles before, so the beginning wasn't too hard, but towards the end it got really nerve-wracking to have to worry about falling 100+ feet lol. it was a lot of fun
It's normal behavior on 'Max FPS'. To keep the FPS up, chunk updates aren't allowed to exceed FPS. On 'Balanced', more chunks per frame are fetched if necessary.
Well, for me, it does that on all three settings (max fps, balanced and power saver)
I recently downloaded WinRAR and tried to download two mods to speed up my game, Optifine and mcregion. I was unable to even play the game after the download of both of them into my bin folder, so I deleted my .minecraft folder to clear my game. I also attempted to uninstall WinRAR and my computer immediately crashed. After my computer started up again, I opened minecraft and started a brand new world in singleplayer, and after pressing F3 to check my FPS and chunk updates, I noticed that they were both in sync. They both stay between 0 and 15 and I have no idea what brought this on. I looked on google, but I haven't been able to find any solutions other than people saying that they have this problem after 1.8. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. I'm probably going to restart my computer and see if that makes a difference, and if it does, I'll update this.
I know this is late, but I'm wondering if anyone can help me locate my minecraft.jar file? It's there because when I made a file called minecraft.jar it said it already exists, but the file doesn't show up in my bin folder. I even made it so my computer would show all the hidden files, but it still doesn't pop up. Can anyone help??? My game is super slow and I really want this mod, but I'm stuck on step one because I can't find the stupid file :sad.gif:
1. Open the start menu
2. Type in "show hidden files" into the search box
3. Click on the "show hidden files and folders" option, should show up under control panel
4. Under "Hidden files and folders", select the option that says; "show hidden files, folders, and drives"
5. Close the folder options window
6. Open the start menu
7. Open "Computer" or "My Computer"
8. Double-click on the hard drive
9. Double-click on the "Users" folder
10. Double-click on the folder with your username
11. Double-click on the "AppData" folder
12. Double-click on the "Roaming" folder
13. Double-click on the ".minecraft" folder
14. Double-click on the "bin" folder
I followed all these instructions, but the minecraft.jar file is still not showing up. In my bin folder, I have a natives folder, jinput (executable jar file), lwjgl (EJF), lwjgl_util (EJF), md5s (file), minecraft (EJF), minecraft-1.5_01 (EJF), minecraft-1.8.1 (EJF) and version (file). I tried to creat a new minecraft.jar folder, but it claimed that it's already in existence. I'm trying to download a mod for minecraft to speed up my fps called OptiFine HD_G and the directions say that I have to locate my minecraft.jar folder, create a back-up of it, open minecraft.jar in an archive editor (no clue what that is?), delete the META-INF folder and then copy the .class files from the downloaded zip into the jar file, replacing previous files. Help???

Thank you! I got it now. All I need to know how to do now is open the file in an archive editor...
