so this fourm will teach you how to download mods! to download go here http://files.minecraftforge.net/ or click below!



FORGE




1. Goto this link http://files.minecraftforge.net/




2. Pick a version(dont download)(Recommend 1.7.10(latest))



3. Got a version? Great! now download it by clicking "Installer" on the right! should say "Downloads" on top of the downloads!



4. Then once its done downloading(i think)You open it up and hit next.



5. once you got that done forge is succesfully installed!



MODS



(sorry for this chat not being so big the setting broke a little)



1. open up minecraft(just the laucher)

2. click "Edit Profile" on the bottom left near their.

3. click Open Game Dir it should be on the bottom right somewere near their.

4. Then it should of opened up a folder, goahead and look for the folder "mods"

5. if you see the "mods" folder skip this if you dont keep reading, if you dont make a new folder name it "mods"

6. now every one reads C; so your ALMOST done!!! find the mod you want (make sure its the same version as forge)

7. install it, then drop it into the "Mods folder" their you go! all done.

8. dont know wear to go to get the mods??? Go herehttp://www.planetminecraft.com/

(NOTE) Sometimes you need to open up the mod folder you just downloaded "MAYBE"

I have the same problem.

so first, ive played single player(SP) myself, SP is just fun for a few moments, then its like (Meh this is boring) Kinda like theirs no point,

ive tried to play SP but i just end up (CHEATING) For instance "/gamemode c" and stuff like that, then i just delete the world.

Mods...mods mods mods mods MODS!!! they are ALL cool in their own way, like galacraft, Camping mod,etc But...they dont last long playing SP, i mean you play a little more, but still get really bored, Modpacks are simply mods, lots of them, higest ive seen is 103(or somthin) but that doesent add to much fun to minecraft, geting a modpack is funner if you do MP Witch this is SP fourm so get out MP. now i dont know if this is help much but, this is really just turning into a "Im bored in single player MC any ideas?" But here is some things you can try! (More adding later)



1. First try until you get bored.

2. Then install a few mods you like.

3. try it playing SP again!

4. Bored? install a modpack

5. try try again!

6. or try making a video out of it!!

ive installed mods (flans mod) modpacks, etc but SP mc was not fun in any way, any ideas? thanks!

the main part is about herobrine so the big awnser. IS HEROBRINE EVEN REAL!?!?!? ive seen vids i knew for a fact they where FAKE. but then in alot of updates for minecraft it says "-removed herobrine" so thats what leaved me wondering is he even real? i also wana know how this even started was it a prank by notch and turned into a big thing?

I have a few concerns about this issue. As a minecraft player I do not want to be a "Minecrosoft" player. Also will I have to pay monthly for Minecraft? A lot of rumors from credible sources have said that. I am disgruntled about this new occurrence. I'm curious about how this will affect modded minecraft. Regular Minecraft is great, but mods add so many concepts, abilities, and items to the game. There are so many different mods it's unreal. I couldn't imagine playing unmodded (vanilla) minecraft. I hope this does not affect modding.

So mincrosoft buying minecraft?

A. AWESOME!

B. Its the end of the world as we know it!

C. Meh

I really love minecraft the way it is!!! I dont want to pay montyly or BUY my skins! or them to TAKE AWAY colored wool and make it a DLC nor even let them make the price to 50$ Microsoft if your reading i want you to read THIS very carefully("MICROSOFT GO TO HAIL!") Microsoft will screw up minecraft as we know it!

It somtimes is to me First time i played i was like WOOHOO!! But then after awhile survival just got kinda boreing cause i had Diamonds(crap ton) huge house alot of food built every thing i could think of! and then its like,Whats the point of doing anything on this survival world..i got everything! survival is fun an all but not challageing"BRO THERES HARDCORE" Same thing only effects health,hunger,mobs thats it.

So then i QUIT minecraft survival altho i go back to survival every once an a while(on singleplayer) BUT THEN I CATCH MY SELF CHEATING IN ITEMS every time! so i have to find a survival server to prevent me from doing that.CREATIVE: i started playing creative then that got boreing since all you do is Build there build here build over there! just build EVERYWHERE pretty much. So minecraft is just plain boredem"YO WE GOTZ MODZZZZ" lol ik we do! i have them just anit what im looking for tho. now ROBLOX is the same thing almost but its easyier to build you can build faster u also dont have to buy a server(Wich is AMAZINGGG) and then theres a crap ton of games you can play with friends/online ppl for example "Work at a Pizza Place" theres a game thats very popular now in minecraft u cant "Work at a Pizza Place" heres a another 1 on roblox "Twisted Murderer" basicly its The Mad Murder where one person is a murderer 1 person is a sherif and the rest are innocents now on minecraft you cant do that Altho theres plugins/mods but then u have to buy a server. witch anit fun. so basicly minecraft is boredem every thing i do is boredem even with mods! Roblox theres new crap every second theres events where u can get cool crap you can also script! in minecraft u have to open up a whole crap and roblox is just Click Click type.

True, i mean that can work but, you cant destroy underneath the water or place any blocks onto the water only 1 block ABOVE the water to escape you also get pushed 2 times more. so its harder to get out but still I mean i would also like the idea i put on my post about Rain storms,It rains HARD theres thunder and when this happends it makes a small layer(like snow) on the surface if there are caves or big cracks in the ground it could began to raise the water height or such as holes in a house roof(etc) it would flood that house a little.

Yes only underground. but to craft the beams would be really easy to craft.

Would anyone else like to see the possibility of cave ins while digging mines in minecraft? Large mines would need support beams to prevent collapses.



I wouldn't mind this. I think it would work well if we just limited it to the more difficult settings, do that way those who wanted a challenge could have it and those that didn't could go about without it. Or maybe a toggle.

Also you may say "THIS IS ALREADY A THING" But doesent happend offten AT ALL!
