With FTB, just modify the pack.json using the manual installation. For technic, I explained this in the LiteLoader thread. Technic's version.json is in /bin/. With ATLauncher, I don't think its possible. There's no way to change the minecraft arguments, so it is impossible to use this unless you're using 1.7.2.
Are you sure there is absolutely no way to get this md working with ATL? It's a huge pain in the ass trying to use WorldEdit without the client mod. Maybe there is a way to make a Forge version? Considering that almost everyone in the Minecraft mod world has Forge. Or maybe make LiteLoader into a forge mod?
I'm currently running an ATLauncher DNS Techpack modpack and I'm not sure how I can get this mod working with it. I tried installing LiteLoader, but ATLauncher does not seem to create any profiles anywhere so the LiteLoader installer doesn't recognize the Minecraft installation.
I tried installing the mod manually, but I'm not sure how to do this as I'm not too crafty with editing libraries.
Does anyone have a step by step guide for how to get LiteLauncher + WorldEdit to work with Tekkit / FTB / ATLauncher type launchers?
I was thinking about doing this, the only problem I see with it is that if I scale up the smaller resolution texture, then all the small resolution textures will look blurred.
I was modifying LB Photorealism for personal use and I ran into a little problem. I use a Tekkit texture pack called Soartex and combined it with LB Photorealism so that the Tekkit blocks would also have a custom texture. The problem is, the Soartex texture pack and the LB Photorealism texture pack have different resolutions.
I want to edit the gold ore block in the LB Photorealism texture pack to look like uranium in the Tekkit texture pack. The problem is, the gold is a higher resolution than the uranium and I do not want to scale down. Is there a way I can maybe make a new file that has only high resolution textures and keep the other file for low resolution textures? Or does anyone have any ideas on how I could combine these low and high resolution textures. Here is an image to better explain my problem.
Hello, I have run into a pretty serious bug. I am working on a system of wireless redstone blocks on my server and the problem that I am having is that, once you place a transmitter and set a frequency, and place a receiver and set a frequency, everything works fine. However, lets say I restart the server. When I then send a redstone signal to the transmitter, the transmitter turns on, but does not send the signal to the receiver. Turning on the gui does not do anything either. The only way to fix this is to change the frequency. And for my system of over 100 transmitters, this will not be possible. Not sure what to do. My whole system breaks without this mod.
Not sure if this has been reported or not, but this does not work with the latest version of Buildcraft. If you want this to work with Buildcraft, open the .rar for this mod, and delete the buildcraft folder. Hope it gets fixed. ^^
Edit: Nevermind, I got it working. Forgot that I had to place the mod in the mods folder instead of the .jar.
I'm crashing on a SMP server, I just crafted one set of Teleport Pipes. I have tried everything I can think of. My problem is I can't get a crash log it just black screens. Anyone point me to a program/bat file that can help me with this?
Thanks in advance-
Chromethous
I am also having a problem like this. Except for me, when an item goes threw a distribution pipe, it has a chance of crashing the client. I have already made a bug report. No one on the forum seems to be having these problems though.
And run that, the errors will show up in the console window.
Alright, here it is.

SoundSystem shutting down...

I just tested this. I set up a distribution pipe on my smp server and let it go for so far 20 minutes with no crashes.
Did you set up multiple distribution pipes to each other? Also, where can I find my log? The weird thing is, I don't crash at all in single player. But in Multiplayer, I always crash. The way I test is, I place down 5 or so distribution pipes to evenly sort items threw my chests. While there are a nice amount of items going threw the pipes (3 or so engines), I start placing blocks all over the place to see if I crash. I also tested just Buildcraft on my server and client, still crash.
Edit: also, there is no traditional crash where it tells you what the reason for the creash was. Just a complete Minecraft shutdown.
Alright, so I just tried the dev build and i'm still getting these crashes. Here is a video of the crash actually happening. Also, the crash does not always happen inside the building, It can also happen where all the IC2 stuff is.
I just started using these pipes on my server and all of the sudden I start to crash like crazy. The server runs just fine, but it seems like every now and then when I interact with a block, or I just load a chunk, my Minecraft just freezes up and crashes. Anyone know what I can do about this?
