Sorry for the delays in adding people to the whitelist.
Big news today, we came very, very, very close to losing the entire map. After deleting all the backups except for 4 (the file was getting up to 10 gb full of backups.) I discovered that the map was corrupted. I went straight to the most recent backup, and found out that it was corrupted. I went to the backup before that, and THAT was corrupted. I then discovered that the other 2 backups were from WAY back to I think last month, when my house was still being build and was the stone & hammer.
I panicked, and planned to do a system restore to try to get the maps back. Thankfully, I reinstalled Mcadmin, and was able to run the most recent backup, which turned out to be absolutely no progress lost at all, for anybody, any bit.
I am so happy that the backup wasn't corrupted, and I'll definitely make sure that the map isn't corrupted before wiping the backup folder again. The map is getting huge, and at this time I believe it is about 80 mb.
Anyways, I'm adding you guys to the whitelist now.

And the reason you are a suspect FGD is because you were on the server at the time of the griefing. Trust me, that is the only reason why you could be a possibility.
Ok, so after putting up the server and getting on, I have discovered that my city has been griefed. There were punches in the glass everywhere, letting water flow in, and punches in the lava lamps, making obisian. It took a while to clean up, but was really annoying. So far, there are only two possible people who could have done it, as they were the only ones on the server.

I'm giving the benefit of doubt - for now, to each of them, and I will not ban either, I already have a strong suspicion on who it is, although I will not say. I will be watching closely, and the server will not be up without an OP or Admin on. We have had problems with griefers before, and I'm getting a bit sick of it.
The server has changed IPs again, check the server thread. I believe this will happen again in the future, so PM me quickly if you are unable to connect because it says "unknown host" so I can fix it a lot quicker next time. The new IP is:

It really seems that these forums are cluttered up with people making their own threads that MUST need its one specific area. I've tried to reduce my thread count by looking for a related thread, and just making a post there.
noooo way. Ghasts are already so hard that not even notch can kill them. Obsidian is hard to obtain anyways, and making anything large out of it would be a pain in the butt, which makes it the perfect price to pay to build in hell.
Why can't we just accept whatever notch throws at us and stop whining like little babies. I'm a Christian, I don't care WHAT he names it. For all I care, he could name it Naraka.
I think the best idea to prevent stepping on anybodies toes, would just to call it the "Underworld" in his blog, and everyone else can use "Hell", or the "Underworld", or "Naraka", or any other word they desire, and there wouldn't be an official word to name the realm.
We all have to remember that this is HIS game that HE is spending HIS time on. He has the right to call whatever realm he wants, anything he wants. He could make craftable crosses and not one of you could do a thing about it.
If Notch decides to keep the name, or change it for religious reasons, accept his choice and enjoy the game. Stop worrying about a name.
I honestly don't think the term "hell" is really meant to promote a religion. I doubt some 10 year old with parents who are atheist is going to see some realm that has a name called "hell" and be like, "OMG, since I saw this realm named hell in Minecraft, GOD MUST EXIST. I AM A CHRISTIAN NOW."
A name can't make someone religious or nonreligious. Honestly, why must you guys think that any reference to anything remotely religious is automatically trying to convert your children to Christianity, and is therefor offending you profusely.

Not necessarily, their vault could be like 5x5 big, and happen to fit in an area where a hell portal can come out.

Umm, the text is way too far to the edges and in the wrong style. That could have easily been done in Microsoft paint.
