Just wanted to step in about the "brightness problem" you mentioned.
(IE: It is darker in game now, than before.)
I too have noticed this, I always run on "moody's point" though. I also notice, if you hit "F1" (To remove the HUD) the "new darkness" goes away. Well, until the HUD comes back
PS: Been playing the new snapshot, lookin' tasty! (I know 'tis not topic, but I had mucho nay-saying so I thought I would throw in a happy hiatus)
Also, congrats on the 7mill sales Mojang Score +10 for "Mom and Pop" Score -10 to the corporate greed!
PS: Mojang counts as a "Mom and Pop" to me, since they are not a big ass nasty beast of a company....yet

This is ultra correct, in all points.
Furthermore, if you use the "Full editor" option, it will not show the buggyness. I've had to edit a thread three of four times in a row, hoo boy does that get crazy with the representing fun!
Regardless, teeny tiny bug. And only shows on the OPers end, and only during a regular edit. Force refresh, or leave the thread and go back in to have it revert to proper displayery <---New word!

It will stay on the list; however, we know to check the dates on infractions. And it's always fairly obvious when an infraction is force expired (IE: Canceled by an admin) So while it stays on the "list-o-infractions" we all know that it was a mistake, and it won't count against ya

I ran a search for "round" blocks, and came across a thread that already exists. Using the cylinder option on that thread, you could achieve your "columns".

Infractions are just reminders of the rules, which if read would should keep you from breaking them.
If you continue to ignore the reminders, then posting privileges are rescinded for a set amount of time (Depending on how unable to follow the rules.)
I recommend reading up on the rules that are being broken, to help you in future postings. They are pretty straight forward, at least until you get into specific rules like "No server threads in the discussion area" etc. Behavior rules are pretty self apparent, as is spamming (EX: No content posts). Advertising, I would say, is also up on the list of "obvious no-no". But if a member can't get a handle on the reminders/infractions, and they keep doing the same rule breaking over-and-over again. They will get their posting privileges revoked.
Regardless, posting restrictions are to remind folks on how to post. By limiting their ability to post, perhaps they will take the extra time to read up on the rules.
Lastly, none of this really applies to applying for a moderator. Other than the fact that having infractions does not discount you from a position. Of course having the same infraction over-and-over again + the inability/no desire to learn rules does. If you can't learn the rules, how can you be expected to enforce them?
Informals are nothing to worry about Neither is a single bumper

It also depends on what infraction(s) we're talking about. Abusive behavior, Spamming, Swearing (Or self censoring), these are the big ones (to me). They let me know that you're more at home being a member of a community, rather than being a shaper of the community.
All that matters is behavior. If you act like a moderator, then chances are you'll get to be a moderator. If you act like a member, then you'll get to remain a member. Above and beyond, that's the cliche we want to see present in our applicants. And, like I tell folks who respond to my infractions: "Just remember, they are reminders not punishments" We have a ton of rules here, and it would be silly of us to assume folks have them all memorized. For, moderator or not, you're human first
Just stick to being an upstanding member, pitfalls come with life. And since this is a part of life, well...

Consider the suggestions "added" it will just be a bit before I do the actual updating. (Sorry for the slowness )

On your way there, be sure to download a copy of the new, and improved, Electric Boogaloo!! More information in the OPost of the thread, though I am sure you saw that before you saw this post.
As always, ALL comments and/or suggestions will be met with nasty replies and hateful responses. (Take your pick!)
Also, to everyone who has liked the pack (Or just downloaded it to laugh at it) THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

CHEATER!!!
Seriously though, I LOVE it when that happens. Last map I did I had to walk forever to find the fortress
Then the Wither Skeletons had their way with my health bar, and I had to walk back...
I'll nether do that again!

Furthermore, "some things" and "some" aren't too specific...What "game breaking/not release" bugs are we talking about?

Why thank you!!
Mojang has fixed the incompatibility problems, so I will probably start working on this again. Though I am going to wait until 1.5 is out and about, just to make sure!
However, as it stands now, according to the bug report I did and the wiki, the pack should work just fine on the current snapshot(s)
Now, I am off to edit the OPost to be more informative. Discontinued seems to be too much of a descriptor now

What was it I said a few pages back?
Sorry you're feeling ill, that is never a fun time. And I really mean "Don't fret", being a moderator isn't all that it's cracked up to be. That post of mine is on 185, if you're feeling up to it check it out. I wrote it just so folks wouldn't get upset at denials
And, I understand, being denied is never ever a fun experience. But true character is shown in a defeat, rather than a win.
