It would be nice if we had the ability to dye a Sea Lantern to a different color.

That's a good idea. They are already very clean and not easy to come by.

If you're looking for something orangeish, one idea could be to add a processed version of magma blocks. Magma bricks could be added that have glowing orange mortar, or a chiseled magma block that could act as a decent, orangeish light source. Magma bricks are featured in the Quark mod, and I can definitely say that they look good enough to be worth trying to hunt down enough Magma blocks to build with them. It's the glowing mortar that really does it.
I actually quite like this. It's a very nice aesthetic.

What are everyone’s thoughts?
P.S.
I realize there are a few more light sources, such as shroom lights, but they don’t look as clean as the sea lantern.
Shroom lights look every thing but clean. When i first saw this block i thought:
Great idea! Glowing mushrooms are cool. The texture however looks like a lightning block got dirty.
I have seen a thread in this forum recently about adding lightblocks, barrier like. Only for creative mode.
That would be a great feature too for map makers.
However i simpatize with the idea of having clean light blocks. The whole concrete palette would be great!
That wouldn't fit into vanilla minecraft at all but we could make so much use of them!
