I almost had a heart-attack when I thought Last-Horizon was going public...
But then I realized this was a cheap PvP server that stole the name of the long-years running server. I may be wrong, but I believe they have Copyrights on the name in relation to the Minecraft server. Just like they have extremely strict terms of their ideas and server properties.

Okay, as an experienced Roleplayer and HungerGames enthusiast myself... I was wondering about all the Tribute apps. Don't you have a list of all the people who were accepted as District Tributes, because I've already seen two male applicants for District 12.
I also think you should change, at the topic description, where it says "and the 2nd Hunger Games are about to begin"... Do you mean RIGHT after the rebellion or after the first book? If after the book, it should be 75th
Back to applying, I'll fill out and application for a male district 12 tribute if it's possible. I believe my application surpasses the standards and may earn me the seat at District 12 tribute. Or, if not, I'll settle as a simple builder or gamemaker.

A small server should have no trouble watching two different sections. It all comes down to the dedication of that server and its' staff. But, no one can really filter the dynamic Roleplay servers from the straight-forward survival ones.
On the topic of splitting topics between the topic of the server itself and the white-list for it... That can be a little tricky. Depending on what the Forum Admins have in mind, they may simply make two different forum sections for both white-list and the server post itself; or they may keep it all in one forum section and risk the troubles of all the bumping and small/big servers mixing and the stress of it all jumbled together. It'd be nice to get some feedback of what the Admins can and can't do, as well as their own ideas or feedback on those that have already been presented.
Organization can be a really good factor when it comes to this sort of thing. You don't really do much change if you just divide one thing from another thing when it comes to these forum topics. If you really want the server forums to be more structured, you'll have to have a lot of change. Such as multiple different forum sections with a multitude of different preferences of topics in that section. An important factor here, like said by the others, is splitting the established servers from the newer ones. Create two sections, for example: "Existing Servers" and "Starting-Up Servers", and perhaps use a small description of the two topics below their prior names like "For those servers who are larger and more established!" etc. Most servers will start out in the Starting-Up section where you have both PvP and Non-PvP servers that have under 150 posts. Moving along, that server gets over 150 posts and they are automatically moved into the existing servers section. In the existing server section, you will then have divided sub-topics for both PvP and Non-PvP established servers. This will help players find what kind of server they are looking for without going through a hassle of several different types of servers.
When a server is starting out, dividing them isn't really a major problem. Why not just do it when they are established?
Going back to the topic of separate white-list threads and server threads, that's another story. Personally, my upcoming Roleplay server won't have a white-listing thread because all that will be done on our forums page. But, a forum section like "White-list Topics" would be only an 'okay' change if it was enforced. You'll be cutting out a lot of lazy players though. The thread owners also would have to post a direct link to the topic, of course, wouldn't want people digging around for it blindly. I think separating white-list topics from server topics isn't going to do very much.
There isn't much else to be done other than what has already been said.

Thought I might change that, but yes most Zombies would be dead within a month or two because of decay and loss of food. BUT. I don't know how to change that. Otherwise, we might just go along and say it's only two weeks in? But then, more elctricity would be running because the gas turbines, water turbines, and all of that would still be going. As long as the gas is going, which is like a month long, and as long as the water is coming (Which is forever because it's a river)... Electricity would keep going. And I wanted to cut out those kinds of resources, and drop the amount of gasoline lying around at gas stations.
Anyways, I can't RP tonight. Or maybe tommorow. Or maybe Saturday, as I have all day plans... But you guys can get yourselves to the roof. ))

Zombies are thinned, and often come when you least expect them. It's been almost six months since the epidemic started and shut down any organized rescue of the US. The zombies spend there time in buildings, alleyways, locked cars, etc. Hardly do they walk the streets as the decaying of their skin is increased in rate ten fold in the sunlight. The Virus doesn't know how to use its pigments correctly so the sun burns them more intensly then the next guy. As for a zombie getting a meal, that's hard to come by other than dead zombies, animals, and somehow stumbling into a butchery. Zombies won't stop to eat. Survival means food. Food means energy. Energy means survival. That's how zombies here think.
And yeah Jenjie, you can have backpack. Lol Gales, it'd be funny if Jackson's room was one of the rooms James trashed up. ))
James pushed all his thoughts away and struck the match against the box, watching as sparks kicked and a bright flame erupted from the tip. Quickly, James threw the match into the pile - Watching as flames exploded from the gasoline and licked up at the broken wood and furniture. The fire spreaded and heated quickly, smoking rising from the bright pile.
He took a step backwards, involuntarily taking a seat on a stool by the coffee table as he watched the fire eat away at the materials. James grabbed a glass and took a swig of the wine at his side, his eyes not ever leaving the flames.

If you haven't attempted to join or at least try the Roleplay, than saying no is beyond the line of practical. And for the rest of you, please use third person and go a little bit more into detail as to what you're doing. And, it's best to stay AWAY from fighting too many zombies... Because then you'll get bit, and I'll be all sadfaced. You'd probably want to stick to the shadows and move as quietly as possible, and only use your car if you're going a long distance because the sound and smell attracts zombies. ))

His eyes glanced over the small coffee table that he dragged up to the roof, with a bottle of wine resting on it's surface. Several half-filled glasses sat around the bottle, which was meant for kind humor for whomever came. And if he was lucky, maybe a zombie would find its way up and James could share a drink with him.
He took a step towards the heap of wood and fabrics, while fishing out his box of matches as he did so. James eyes took a moment staring at the single match he had, rested against the box and ready to be struck. ~Why am I even doing this? What makes me think there's actually anyone alive in the city, it's been months...~ He thought to himself.

I'm a strong believer in characters not dying unless the owner of the character decrees so. The only time you may die is if you actually put your character into the situation of dying, and it is near impossible to be saved or at least run from it. Or, if you become inactive/break the rules. Because then I'll MAKE zombies bite you... HARD.
Mmkay? But anyhow, the only hard part about this thread is maintaining easy logistics, like don't make a gun that shoots exploding cans of napalm or back-up generators from scratch... Maintaining good posts that stay away from "Example replies, "Yeah that's cool. Put it in the backseat." Example then rests his head on the console in boredom.", because I don't like that stuff. And also getting past the big application which my standards are being lowered for the beta-members (You guys). ))

You can even kill a zombie or two in your intro, just without gunshots because then James would hear it and it'd kill the starting action of the plot. HAVE FUN! ))
