Does anyone know any way to fix the freezing while chunks load? I've narrowed it down to the canopy trees and hollow trees, which seem to be the only cause of the freezing. Anyone know why?

men im making a server for my friends and for me and already put some mods in it but when i try to put your mod in the server crash i have windows 7 64bits and minecraft 1.5.2 i tried with the 2 versions of the mod that belived the server would run the 0.2 and 0.2b but any of those work so i deleted all my mods so i could say that it wasnt incompatibility but still server didnt run so i really could say why the mod didnt work so im here to see if u can help me with that

Try to reproduce this crash and get the crash report this time. It really helps him fix crashes when he knows what the problem is, or at least some of it.

I will love you forever, Noppes. Unless it's like that annoyingly-difficult program you have to make skins on your website. Then I shall simply tolerate you.

I know that oceans are extremely barren and empty, but I figure that if you left your house today, hopped in a canoe, and used your hands to paddle, it would be a very long and boring trip across the Atlantic.

But if the oceans are going to be that big, the continents should be too. Earth: 2/3 water. Minecraft: 8/9 water.

One mans rambling is another mans poetry, I guess.

I still fail to see anything. :/

Also, to anyone who said they were going to cross the ocean, I'll see you in 5 years.

To the guy that was going to swim it, we will all miss you.

Well, dang. this got attention fast. Didn't even expect it to get noticed, in all honesty. :|

Also, no clue why I wrote it that way. Random impulse. :S

It sort of does have a deeper meaning.

It does? All I got from it was that oceans are big. :/

So was that like a poem or something?

No. I was bored, and felt I needed to do something as I waited :/

    So, oceans. Fun for everyone.

Currently, I am crossing an ocean trying to find a new continent to settle on.

It's been 35,000 blocks since I last saw true land.

    Oceans suck.

    How big are oceans usually?

It would be nice to know.

    Seeing as I've hit 35,000.

    And found 4 mushroom islands.

And no more than 3 regular islands.

    -__-

    EDIT:

At about 73,000 blocks from spawn.

    Found continent.

    Find jungle.

    Jungle temple.

    Hidden chests has rotten flesh.

Sad, because the hidden chest most often has better loot.

    Find other chest.

    3 DIAMONDS.

    5 EMERALDS.

    So happy.

    Died.

    Forgot coordinates.

    Remembered direction.

    Crossing ocean again ATM.

    Fml.

    EDIT:

    Got back.

    So happy.

    Death Chest mod installed.

    All stuff saved.

    SUCCESS.

    Make a bed.

    Sleep.

    Die.

    Respawn at bed.

    BEST. FEELING. EVER.

    Make a 2x4 house.

    Hiding forever.

    Never leaving.

    Safe...

    Safe......

    Safe.........

Sigh... This is one of the few things that I both want to do, but also makes me realize how little free time I get... I have barely anything done due to school. :c No pictures, as my Minecraft has a virus... D: Ah well, I got a few three-day weekends coming up at least a FEW hours of free time... As I wait for my laptop to come back... :c

I understand the effort in "touching up" HD textures, but whether or not you touch it up, your still using textures from google images, or some other resource.
I may add in though that that block in the preview is quite appealing to me, I wish it wasn't a resource image used for the texture.

My apologies if I misinterpreted your post and these actually are your base textures.

These textures are only the base shape for it. I am going to be making my own look for them, but I needed a shape of the cabinets that I like. Also note that this is the first time I have done anything even remotely related to textures. I have never edited a Minecraft file before on my own, nor have I ever thought about it. Just realize that this is the way that I have seen a few realistic texture packs do their work early on, by starting with a Google image, and then changing the texture to something they think looks good. I have followed a few texture pack creators and I have seen numerous posts about using Google images for some textures. And as I said before, this is the only one I Googled so far. It is only Googled because I do not have at my house, as all my cabinets are metal. I will be using Google for the following ones also, as I have none of the following at my house:
    Armchair
    Blinds
    Ceramic Panel
    Chimney
    All Clock parts
    Coffee Table
    Lamp
    Light
    Mantle Piece
    Plant Pot
    All Sofa parts
    Table Lamp
    Television*
    Window Box

*1: I have no T.V.s that look the way they do on this mod, so this is a maybe.
Note: All mob heads will be coming from the true Extreme Photo Realism pack.

This is terrible. No effort. Just google pictures. I know it's a realism texture pack, but this is pretty lazy.

Actually, no. I am going to be using GIMP to touch them up A LOT. When I said minor details next to the picture,I meant that I only had done minor details. I still need to find another texture to mix with it and I need to touch it up afterwards. The picture there is in NO way complete. I am going to be doing this the same way the normal Photo Realism was made. Plus, with all the spare time I have this is going to take at least a few years.
EDIT: The cabinet was the only one so far that I have googled, as my house cabinets are all metal, and that s a wood cabinet. I am trying to use my home items to make them look like, plus a picture on google to shape them.

    Nice.

I wouldn't say that yet. It still looks like s**t right now.

Hello everyone. Currently, I am working on a 256x version of Extreme Photo Realism to go with Jammy's Furniture Mod, which I use, but has no value in my world due to lower quality textures. So, since I am making this, I thought I could ask permission and give it out to you guys. It will be a while, but in the process, I will post a picture of each item on this forum. If you have any pictures you would like me to use for this pack, post them, and I will see if I can use that texture. However, the download will not be on this topic, but rather on the Extreme Photo Realism topic page, and Jammy's Furniture Mod topic page. In the downloads section here, I will only give links to the topics that will have the download. To install, just replace the files in:

    mods/1.3.2_Jammy_Furniture_Mod_Universal_BETA_V4.3/mods/jammy780

    Pictures:
http://imageshack.us...0912225819.png/ This one isn't quite finished yet. Minor details. :/

Most likely, I will be making a replacement for every file in the above file location. This may take a while, as I need to be at least content in mood, and be motivated, to be able to get any work done. Procrastination problems. :c

P.S. Please excuse any spelling and grammar mistakes you may find. ASUS is a horrible keyboard producer, but their laptop was all I could afford at the time that had everything I needed. :/

EDIT: I will be making this more professional looking later, but I'm a little stuck on time at the moment. :/

EDIT EDIT: May have to be abandoned as I have about 10 minutes of free time a week to work on this :/

EDIT EDIT EDIT: I might just end up doing this and not releasing it to the public. As in, making it for only my use. :/

Hey guys! I figured I'd post a picture of the no-top kitchen cupboard. I'm going to fix it up, but I want you guys to tell me if you like the general look, and if you have any suggestions! Also, yes, the knob is effed up. I was trying to test out where the pixels went. :/

This is a great mod and one I'd love to have on my server! However, in the past it has had conflicting IDs with the mod, ExtraBiomesXL, so if possible it might be a good idea to fix that. I recall that last time I tried to run the two at the same time the IDs got so messed up that IC2's rubber trees spawned ender dragon heads as leaves and another wierd block as the wood. Eventually I got it to work just fine, but it would be nice not to have to go through that hassle again.

Dragon head leaves? That sounds... Not bad, actually.

Hello! Um, lets see. I was looking to create a 256x texture pack for Jammy's Furniture Mod, but I've never actually made an HS texture pack before, and especially not for a mod. I would love some help in how to make the textures 256x in the first place, as I feel that if I were to make it that big, it would simply cut out all the areas it thinks are not part of the 16x it normally uses. Also, I would like to know if I would put the textures back into the mod folder, or put it into a texture pack folder instead. Thanks in advance!
