    [feature request] I would like to see the Player Sensor (or door opener as I like to call it) moved from this mod to the Malisis Doors mod, as it's doors related and is not a block. Purely a selfish request on one level, as it's the only thing I use from this mod, but it does make some of the Malisis Doors work so much better, not to mention Vanilla double doors :)

    Question: I've gone down the mine until i got to y=1, and then there was another Mine Portal, which started me on a new level of mine. Went down a couple of levels to y=235, and there was no more ladders going down. Does that mean that my game is done as I can't get beyond silver ore ? Is there any way to fix this ?


    I tried buying a ladder and placing it in the lowest level, but all it did was place the ladder, and then you can't pick it up again.

    I'm sure I don't understand these 2 settings then:

    I:bandedClimateOffset=0

    I:bandedClimateWidth=0


    At 0 and 0,arctic to arctic seems to be about 7,000 to 10,000 blocks - I think from flying around and teleporting. How can I extend that so that arctic to arctic is about the same as your picture labelled as climate band options, which is about 25,000 ?

    Both sorts of switches work fine for me once you hook the switch to a door or Redstone Lamp with a Linker.


    What simply does not work for me are the Relays. Hooked them up any which way I can think of to Levers and active redstone sources, but never had one glow green like in the example picture. Haven't been able to find any video examples, so maybe I'm doing something wrong with the linking....

    Is there any way to use redstone signal to open Carriage Door and/or Medieval Door ? Because if there is, I can't figure it out. Clicking on the door itself opens and closes the doors fine, but would be nice to auto-open/close them.

    The player sensor is not working with the Hi-tech Doors. It does work with most other malisis doors. Would be great if it worked with carriage doors as well, but not sure that would be possible due to the height.

    Yes, but different mods have different parameters and ways of working, not all of which I find good. For example, Animals+ made the animals continue to spawn and despawn the way monsters do in vanilla Minecraft. Mo's Animals had to be set up in such a fiddly way that it took hours to make it work on a server pack, and the spawning was still never quite right. Other animal mods caused massive server lag.


    This mod does none of these bad things. Excellent models, good spawning rules, well thought out and logical ways of getting more of the mobs, excellent on the server. About the only quibbles I ever had with it was that it would have been nice to have settings for how often and how loud the bird sounds were and it would also have been nice to have the birds spawn in logical biomes - ie. snow birds in cold biomes.

    You clearly have no clue what you're missing. Minecraft for 1.10.2 and Forge for 1.10.2 allow mod developers to do things that they weren't even able to contemplate doing in the long obsolete 1.7.10, with the result that the mods on 1.10.2 are of a much higher quality with much more variety and much better server performance.
