Yeah. The world is made up of chunks, so when you look to the left, it'll be trying to make a chunk where you are looking. I'm not sure but I do think there's some chunk editing programs so you can change the structure, but I have no experience with them.

It might be an outdated texture pack conflicting with the new Tall Grass maybe? Try running on default textures if you haven't already.

You could also have a corrupted map from the new update. A chunk error when it generates with new grass.

Try to get a new Minecraft bin and resource folder by pressing "Force Update" when starting the game. If for some reason you can't, follow this little guide I made.

Okay. Go into the run program. You can get it in your start menu like this.

Once you open it you can type %appdata% like this.

Once the folder opens, delete the .minecraft folder. It should appear like this.

The Minecraft files are all in that folder. Just run the game again and all the files will automatically reset to default.

This should be exactly what you wanted. Please click the reputation button in the bottom right of my post if you wanna give me some rep+. :smile.gif:

    Good job over achiever :wink.gif:

Well sometimes people need pictures instead of just text to show them where they should be.

posted a message on maps: north= east?
Maps in Minecraft have always been rendered in that way, with north being the east. I thought that's how Minecraft was, because that's how the old Cartographer did it. Now it automatically flips in Cartographer, Notch should have the map flip when you "finish" it.

posted a message on Which video file is the best?
Sorry! I didn't mean just FLV. Here's a quote from Youtube.
We recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on YouTube.

This was a post a while ago ( Before HD Youtube ), but you should use the MP4/FLV/SWF option whenever you can!

posted a message on The semicolon
I use the semicolon when I have writers block for a report and want it to look formal. I get confused over some things when trying to keep correct sentence structure, then I realize the semicolon is there for that exact reason most of the time.

Here's a tip. The semicolon is like a hybrid of the period ( . ) and the comma ( , ). It has nearly nothing to do with the colon itself. It's used whenever you need an "in between" of the two. Which is why it has a period and comma together in the character! ( ; )

posted a message on Which Ubuntu Should I use?
I have a related question. My mothers laptop has Ubuntu installed, but the downloads are rather slow for YouTube, Software Center, anything.. It's wireless and the speed doesn't change from around 100kb/s around the apartment. Anybody know the reason?

Edit: It downloaded with rather fine speed before I installed Ubuntu by the way.

I use it when I need a comma and the break isn't grammatically correct for a new sentence; so yes.

posted a message on Which video file is the best?
Youtube says MP4, with MP3 sound and (.flv I think) video is the best.

Edit: I will add a Youtube video I made the other day to basically test quality. I used what Youtube suggested and it turned out great in 1080p.

I'm sure we'll get used to it after a week or so. I'll be much more comfortable once I fix the emoticons in my sig to the new format.

Hmm.. My old avatar doesn't appear..

    Edit: Nevermind!!
