I suppose it done on perpose. if there will be possibility to back it to 1.5 who will stay on new versions ? there will be no testers. who will report bugs huh? do u want to have final version of minecraft with 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 bugs? or maybe it will stay 1.5 untill release and there will be no new stuff. becouse apparently thouse little group of ppl who tested close beta of 1.6 wasnt enough to give us correctly working patch

Alright so here it is, my friend wants to buy minecraft and play with me but his father said no. Why you might ask? well here comes the fun part. He thinks the entire game is a scam. He believes that there are some viruses hidden in the programming of the game.
That's not all, it gets better. He also thinks that although they arn't discovered and although there may not be any in minecraft yet, that Notch could implement horrible viruses into your computer with any patch stealing information through keylogging and information stealing viruses. He also does not believe that Mojang is a legit company. If you show him any evidence that the company is real he'll say they're fake. He does not want to use his credit card to buy the game as his information may be stolen.
He will attest that everyone claiming minecraft to be great has been fooled. He says that the minecraft site itself probably has keylogging malware on it. All this he claims through the fact that apparently Sweden is known for piracy and has no (i forgot what it was) online distribution law(?), something that would make it illegal for Notch to sell a game with viruses or give viruses to others. He says he'll let my friend buy the game though if it sells in stores on retail.
What i'm asking is if there is any truth to what he's saying, because tbh it sounds like complete paranoia to me. Any convincing evidence you can give to counter his claims would be helpfull for me trying to convince him to change his views. As he told my friend that if there was any more talk of minecraft from him he would take away all his games. (sorry for long post, i just wanted to be detailed)
