It's changed alright, but the fact remains that under certain conditions, villages still spawn.
Possible conditions:- The base can't be any higher than a certain amount (but villages can in all kinds of places on normal maps...)
- The biome must be plains (isn't it always plains in superflat?)
- The surface must be a certain type of block (villages can spawn on sand and grass and a few others; perhaps all others are invalid)
Would I be correct to assume you are one of those kids who replies to youtube videos with "fake and gay"?

Many of you seem convinced that villages can't spawn in modified worlds...

This world is just 1 layer of sand, and the village floats above it. The preset is "1;12;1".
Now for the amazing floating space village!

With all of the mods out there, it's pretty much impossible for them to not "steal" from someone. And they probably didn't even know this mod existed anyways. You try and come up with an idea that hasn't already been turned into a mod.

I've never tried using a snapshot before and I've stayed on 1.2.5 after hearing of all the problems with 1.3.x
Is it really just as simple as swapping out the .jar files? If this snapshot has problems do I just replace it with my old (stable) 1.2.5 jar and everything will be back to normal?

1.3: Added 2 temples and desert villages. Also tweaked generation. Added Large Biomes.
1.4: Added witch huts and changed village farms. Also changed superflat generation, and had to debug the normal generation. 1.3 seeds still work, but generation past x/z=1,000,000 changes slightly.

Yes it does as long as you put 3ditems in "mods" and quinoptions in magic launcher. I just suck at reading instructions.

Place redstone in a 4x4 square in the nether to go to a nether side-dimension,
Placeable glowstone dust placed in the same fashion in the nether to go to the other nether side-dimension,
