    I've tried to use the 'better foliage' mod with this one mainly to round up logs that I created, but I've failed because inside customitem's jar it is a bit different from other mods, so I'm unable to locate the file address that I need in order to whitelist it within better foliage. Is it even possible and if it is could you please elaborate? Thanks

    Since last time I checked this mod out you have made nice improvements. I'm using the 1.7.10 version. Would it be too much to ask to get config options to allow mobs to run away at their default speeds?

    I asked this question months ago but no one replied, so I'm gonna reword it. As I walk around my world suddenly it stops loading new chunks, mobs stop moving, can't open chests, the entire world just stopped working even though I'm allowed to move around. As a result as I keep walking I literally fall off the edge of the map due to nothing working, moving, or loading. Surely this is something very common. It has happened to me with 50 mods, 100, or 150 mods.


    What could the probable cause of this be? Can anyone help me find out?

    Sorry hehe... been using Minetweaker a lot lately and I'm too familiar with whats going on here. The orange rock is a gem ore. It's having pieces chipped away yielding gem shards in return. While you might not have all the materials to craft the final gem item, you can use the gem shards for other tools and things that will get you closer to developing the technology you need to polish the final item. With every crafting of the item you make it 'better' and closer to its final form.


    The gem ore is being transformed inside the crafting table, so you don't consume it, that way u can keep it with you as you progress in your quest to cut your first diamond. Shortly after you've cut your first diamond you will develop better tech which will decrease the effort you need to put in to make a diamond. One of the things I had in mind with the shards is to get them ground up after you've built a mortar and pestle, and use them to create diamond dust paper (sand paper) to use it to polish the gem item and give it it's final form.


    It's an unfinished concept that I plan to expand to other things. I just don't want people to reach top tier within 30 minutes of playing. You have to earn it, and your life will depend on it too. It will require you to do some exploration on your part to get the materials needed to succeed, so it won't be tedious as the impression given by the pics. Each upgrade of the item will be meaningful and not mindless crafting lol.


    By the way my vision is focused around hard survival.

    Sorry for the weird double post. I don't know why it did that. Anyways there will be a use for the shards and you will have to acquire some things to help you polish the stone early in the game. After you have gone deeper into the tech tree it will become much faster and efficient to get diamonds. Remember everything early game will be inefficient.

    Hello guys. I'm using mods to create a progression to play with my friends and family. The main goal is to make survival very challenging, by prolonging access to things such as top tier food sources, diamond tools, etc...


    I just wanted your opinion guys about a crafting progression I'm working on. Would you find it fun or tedious? I know my items are orange, but just imagine they were actually diamonds.

    This mod is amazing! I have changed my game so much it's almost like I've made my own mod. Was the block drops feature ever finished? There examples were not so clear to me. I understand the part about adding drops, but not the overwriting part since it looks like a bit of a wall of text and a bit hard to understand. Any good examples on how to use the overwrite drops feature?

    Oh... nvm I figured it out!!! I just realized how similar to minetweaker it is lol. Fixed my spaces and it works. Wow man this goes so well with Minetweaker. I'm actually creating stuff! This is so fun.

    Ahhh they completely got me there. First time I see a script file in my life. I see it all now. Thanks a lot!!! I had learned how to script my recipes with the MT tutorial but I never actually found the zs file. Thanks again!!!! I'm so excited now that I will be able to script my own things.

    I just noticed that the file i was deleting might actually be just a log. Its called minetweaker.log. I had used minetweaker recipe maker to make the recipes, so I never knew where the scrips where actually saved. What folder is this? I've searched all over mods, config, mods-config, .minecraft, and the only thing I found related to minetweaker was that minecraft.log text file located inside the main .minecraft folder.

    Minetweaker wont stop restoring its 'minetweaker' config file on .minecraft. It keeps bringing back all my old recipes and I dont even know it remembers in the first place. I would like to PERMANENTLY delete my custom recipes, but they keep coming back after I start minecraft. Someone please help me thanks.

    The man said it's for 1.7.10 and people keep insisting lol. I don't see arrogance, I see him getting aggravated by people not listening. Details are irrelevant. If it's for 1.7.10, then for 1.7.10 it is.


    I don't think 1.7.10 will become irrelevant yet. 1.7.10 has double the amount of mods available to players than any other version. Maybe a little into the future it will be as it's becoming increasingly easier to port mods after the 1.9 updates. The day nears but it's not quite there yet.
