posted a message on Nether Villages

Glad you guys like it! A word of warning, however, watch your village carefully after you reach ten villagers. You could be a long ways away from your village and an iron golem could spawn and start hitting zombie pigmen and that can aggress them to you from far away. I was 8+ chunks away from my village when zombie pigmen suddenly started randomly aggressing me. It took me a while to figure out why.

You just spoiled so many death stories...

posted a message on How to not get bored of my world?

    1. The first thing you must accept to enjoy minecraft is that minecraft survival is boring as phuck... once you setup a sustainable food source survival becomes meaningless and boring, just like in real life if you somehow woke up in a deserted world. After you setup shelter and a food source survival feels just like "hardcore creative mode" since you just do what you would do in creative but the hard way, gathering resources. Once you accept that one little detail about minecraft you can begin enjoying it. When I started playing I expected loads of fun, I was completely dissapointed and bored, it wasn't until I saw someone's 4 year journal that I understood, survival is a game designed for the long run not designed for instant limitless fun. You just have to slowly keep working on it, a couple hours every other day, just keep at it and after enough time passes you will have created big things.

    2. How to do small stuff at a time and not get bored: Just don't wander around your world aimlessly or you will find yourself having suicide thoughts our of boredom. I have certain places around my base marked as panoramic spots. I start playing and I go to these spots to have a greater view of my base from different angles, As I do that I make a little to-do list for that play session. Like: Fill the pool with water, clean X area of trees, etc... a small list of things you know you can accomplish in the 2-3 hours you will be playing. That will keep you entertained for those few hours and when you're done with your list just of minecraft before boredom finds you.

posted a message on Challenge: live in one chunk!

What would really make this epic would be to start it in a multiplayer server. Each new player selects a chunk near the other players and as new players join all chunk borders must be blended together by corresponding chunk neighbors. Might not have made myself completely clear, but something like that.

posted a message on Mob spawning distance.

Was a good joke indeed. In defense of the necromancer, usually people google questions and those questions lead them to old forum posts and they just post something not realizing how old it was. I was led here through a search engine.

    posted a message on How to get more arrows to fuel your deadly bow in minecraft Survival mode!!!! {[(Easy way)]}
Not sure if you are a dumb genius or a brilliant troll, but you post count hints at the latter.

Edit: If you are serious though, I'd pay to look at your face when you collect your infinite feathers and try to make infinite arrows without infinite flint...

posted a message on Minecraft myths
    Quote from sirrockyqo»
A myth is something explaining something in nature.

Herobrine is a myth, he doesn't exist, but he explains strange anomalies in Minecraft Worlds that were otherwise unexplainable

Pretty much everything else is a rumor or a fact

Actually a myth is "a widely held but false belief or idea." Myths do not explain anything. Herobrine can explain nothing in minecraft, because herobrine doesn't exist.

A myth is also "a traditional story, especially one concerning the early history of a people or explaining some natural or social phenomenon, and typically involving supernatural beings or events." In other words, a myth is what happens to every religion when people stop believing in it. It is what happened to the greek gods that are now myths, it is what will happen to all the gods of current time, including Jah, Jehova, Brahma and all of them gods of today. They will become myths in the future when people no longer worship them, just like herobrine became a myth when people realized it was fake.

Disclaimer: Not starting a religion debate here. No offenses intended.
