Chosen Server (Kanto, Castelia): Kanto
What
do you think about PokeMC? (50 words or more): I've played on the Kanto
server for about four days. End of the first day, I found myself
comfortable enough to talk to folks. The community is knowledgeable,
very kind and loves Pokemon. The staff is very active, easy to talk to,
and entertaining (manager's square dance). The server runs well and has a
great connection. I recommend this server to a starting pixelmon
player, or experienced. Be awed by their build team's spawn.
I've got a suggestion. Could ink sacs be a drop from water gardens? Squid spawns are sometimes a real problem. If people didn't have them enabled, ink could drop from those gardens.
I've found a 3rd party FTB pack called ArchMageCraft that's got all five major magic mods in it. The pack creator has a small server to play on, and we've got a pretty floral world.
Still being added to, and getting better all the time, but be careful of infernal mobs.
As for Arcanacraft, I had a blast playing it while I did. Thank you Mithion. Thank you Malexion. Thank you to rd who was my kind neighbor. Its been a pleasure, but I've moved on. So all you, stop being pansies and say thank you to the people who made this possible!
Allow me to give you a cookie as a thank you. I saw this right before I went to bed, downloaded it, and will be delving in after my exams are finished.
When right clicking grass to harvest seeds with a Tinkers Construct mattock, the tool completely breaks and vanishes when it runs out of durability. Treats it just like a vanilla hoe. It was a flint mattock.
Otherwise, I'm so happy to be able to harvest crops by right clicking again. Thank you!
Let me see if I can get you a crash log. I had been dealing with technic launcher giving me problems and the ticking entity crash made me increasingly frustrated. I'm sorry for sounding short and irritable. Spaghetti makes everything better.
Put it below. It looks like "I" am the ticking entity. Could it be because of where I was?
Edit: When I log in, I see the potion effect of a spoon and an eyedropper. I'm wearing two pieces of mage armor, but haven't started magic. Could this be the problem? If it is, please remove them from my player data, but if possible, I'd rather not lose my entire inventory. Or, put my inventory in a chest next to my player?

What causes the ticking entity? I'm not the only player afflicted. I'd appreciate it if that were squashed, because its frustrating enough to deal with a modpack that won't install to begin with.
Joshie, I found a bug you should look into. Mariculture was added into Magic Farm 2, and there is no magnesium available in that pack. Polished Titanium fishing rods cannot be made. You need a work around.
Y'know what? You can change the game all you like, but you cannot change people. Someone is always going to cheat, and then find the way to do it. If you were trying to please/drive crazy your newer fanbase, then the hardcore wood will do it.
If you're happy with your mod, then you've accomplished something.
I think those garden shears in your head sank a little deep, you might want a doctor to look at those. Interesting for hardcore baking.
There's no "could" about it, and it's far from slight.
I am constantly amazed by people's desire to avoid any kind of challenge and avoid playing games the way they were actually designed. Guess it's a bi-product of vanilla's "do whatever: we don't have a designer anyways" approach.
Yes, you're right. Its wrong and should be avoided. I couldn't really say yes or no to the bi product idea, because I don't have an opinion about either too much.
Is it wrong of me to cheat in a beacon to bind myself too so i can get better at the game without death being an end all factor for me?
I'm still new to the BTW scene, and personally, I did put up a beacon in a world, just to see if it helped. I haven't died yet, so... the creative use hasn't been of use yet. It could be considered cheating, but I learn a bit better with slight advantage. Now, if you travel out 500 blocks + on foot at the beginning of the game, and die with a whole inventory in hand, that beacon ain't gonna be much of an advantage, hm? Tack on being at night and its raining... your items are as good as gone.
Granted, with the extra hardcore wood, we new players are restricted to hanging about forests to pick up enough wood to survive the first few days.
I personally am surprised FC hasn't done hardcore leather like TFC yet, but thats just my opinion. It is not a suggestion, it is insightful opinion. OPINION. Have I mentioned its just an opinion yet?
I'm gonna be the smart alack and say 'but he doesn't need to, all he needs to do is neuter a few creepers and use a stapler.'
Now the question is, When you neuter a creeper, why don't they drop a pair of oysters? THey might be victim of an orchiopexy as a result of being neutered. (don't look that up unless you took human anatomy)
Really? I've never found pumpkins at all, no matter how far I range. I even started a world on creative mode, just to expore to see what kind of distance I'd need to travel to find pumpkins, but I still couldn't locate any
What's your secret
\
I've found pumpkins in extreme hills, snowy forest, occasionally forest, and tundra hills, if my memory serves. You gotta get lucky, I guess.
I'm working on building my first windmill on a multiplayer world, and the hemp is easier to come by in an established farm then finding gold and redstone.
I'm a relatively new player to this mod, but I have to admit, it looks fantastic. Seems that mods that make the game more complicated and interesting draw me more then playing vanilla. Am I good at playing vanilla? Heck no. Creeper deaths cause me more headaches then other mobs.
When I read in your last release, the 4.8913 one that you were removing ability to use any side of the crafting table, it spooked me a tad. I have experienced hardcore headwear now, and its crazy.
My present save on my mac had me hiding in a hidey hole on the coast in the hills, then a creeper blowing up next to me when I was inside tree leaves, harvesting. More often then not, I'm tossed into forests or jungles as a respawn point. This time, it was a desert.
I'll put out that yes, I do use cheats. My minecraft experience isn't enough to trust walking out of a hostile biome on occasions. I like getting a birds eye view of my surroundings, but 95% of the time, I end up walking out anyways. I use keep inventory, but I still end up losing items because I put some things away in chests.
I've watched Vioki's lets play and found it quite entertaining, as well as a decent reference point. The point about the stone axe being the best early game tool, I would agree with.
To end off my rambling, I want to say thank you. Although its horrifically frustrating at many points, I see this mod as a good learning point for me.
I'm keep playing and I wasn't pushy for first time but I didn't get answer for long time, totally ignored...
And my wand didn't broke, it's just not enough to make some items...
Sorry guys I was pushy, I don't wanted to :/
Weird tip, but go hang around the sky den. Seems to be a node within the area there, because its the only place my wand will recharge.
Pineapple, go get a program called 7-zip, right click on the download file of skyden and extract it into your modded 1.4.6-1.4.7 .minecraft folder. It'll put the mods where they're supposed to go.
If you have any more questions, read the rest of the thread, as probably.... 20 people have asked the same question. READ PEOPLE. Answering the same question multiple times makes me cranky in the middle of the night.

Good day.

If you're happy with your mod, then you've accomplished something.
I think those garden shears in your head sank a little deep, you might want a doctor to look at those. Interesting for hardcore baking.

Didn't want to offend anyone with my opinions.

Good luck, and keep on mining.
