Nah. He was a passing fad I think. It's an interesting idea, but I don't think that he should truly be added to the game. He can stay as the fake ghost of minecraft.
How often are you available and in what timezone? I'm in the Eastern Time Zone and am available from 12:30 to 11:00 PM. When school starts I'm available from 3:00 to 10:00 PM. (These are roughly accurate times. I'm going to a new school so I do not know its exact hours.)
How long have you been playing Minecraft? I've been playing minecraft since 7th grade, so about 2 years. (I think that's Minecraft Beta 1.5)
How long have you been playing on Mumau's Prison? I've been playing for about 2 months I believe.
What's your current rank on the server? I am a Free man.
For what reason(s) do you wish to become a guard? Believe me on this one: when I first joined and found the fake guard in the tutorial room, I thought he looked pretty cool. Also, some prisoners do not entirely like the guards. Some think they are mean and unfair. I don't agree with them at all; I think all of you guards are awesome and really nice to all you meet! But, even if they don't like all the guards, I'd like to be one they can relate to, someone they can look up to for guidance and friendship.
Why should we choose you for guard? For one, I'm great with children. I've had plenty of experience with children outside of minecraft. Some of our fellow prisoners are young, younger than 10 for some. Being in-game changes some things, but I believe I can effectively and nicely convey a message to a child without causing a ruckus. Also, I'm a fast typer. I can handle situations quickly and effectively by typing a sentence or two in a small amount of time. My third reason is I have great judgement I believe. A guard isn't all PvP. Sometimes a guard must handle a situation that doesn't involve PvP. Sometimes it doesn't have a specific protocol or way to handle it. That's where good judgement comes in. I can use my good judgement to find a fair way to handle things, this may not please someone by my decision, but what's fair is fair right? Fourth reason is I am effective at PvP. (or at least mediocre) Some of you guards and wardens might think I don't PvP at all, but that's cause you are online. I don't like being jailed. When you aren't online I like to throw on some armor and fight. Even with a wood sword I'm a force to be reckoned with. No I can't kill everyone, but neither can a guard.
Tell us about the ethics that must be applied in the guard system: I think the number one ethic of a guard is the following: protect and help the players. Notice "players." This doesn't just mean prisoners. If a mod is being attacked or a guard or even a warden, a fellow staff member must help. Unless of course the mod started the fight. (Sorry Moderators.)Also notice "protect." Sometimes I see guards (no names) kill people simply because they hit someone. Whether they started the fight or not, they get killed. If the guard didn't see who started the fight, then I completely understand why you punish both players, but the player who started the fight initially is the one who should be rightfully punished.
Respect: A guard must have respect for every single player. Each player has a soul and has the right to be respected and treated fairly. No name callings, no ignoring another player when they address you (other than spam), and no killing just because they simply annoy you.
Cool Head: A guard needs to keep his/her cool. You get killed by a prisoner; so what? Armor isn't that big a deal and if they are skilled enough to kill you, kudos to them. Don't go after them for revenge, or break the guard rules and jail them cause you witnessed your own death. A prisoner is frustrating you; keep calm and deal with it. If you keep trying I'm sure a prisoner will understand.
Honesty: One of the hardest values in life. Things can be so much simpler with a little fib, a small white lie. Honesty is the best policy. Don't lie about anything if a prisoner accuses you of abusing your powers, or killing them on purpose, or anything for that matter. Don't lie! Lying gets you nothing but disrespect and disappointment.
Loyalty to the server: Don't take the job for the perks. You stay loyal to your commanding officers: Elite Guards, Chief Guards, Wardens, and Admins. Do what they say and don't shirk your work.
Acting Role Model: You know when you were in 1st grade in school, and looked up to the 4th or 5th graders thinking they knew everything? Thinking they were the best of the best and you wanted to be just like them? That's what a guard should be: the best of the best. Someone all prisoners should look up to, to follow.
Patience: Another hard value of life to follow. Be patient, don't get frustrated or angry at that one C prisoner who is just so lost and confused and is seemingly wasting your time. Be nice and help them. All good things come to those who wait.
Have you ever been warned for breaking the rules? If so, what was the reason? Not once have I been warned, and I never ever plan to.
Have you been banned before in Mumau's Prison? If so, why? Never, and I hope I never do.
Have you been banned before in any other server? If so, why? Only my friend's server and only because he was messing around with commands.
What is your situation with armor and money? Almost a full chest of iron armor, most of it is enchanted. Tons of diamond swords, all enchanted. I have a lot of iron and stone swords, most enchanted. And I also have two enchanted power 1 bows. As with money? I have about $34k ($34,000).
Why did you start playing on this server? A long time ago my parents finally let me play multiplayer on minecraft. My friends had fun on a prison server and I wanted to join one. I browsed prison servers and on Planet Minecraft yours was number one on the list I think. I joined and boy was I not disappointed. Glad to have joined, you made my summer enjoyable.
Any other information you see appropriate? Couldn't fit it anywhere cleverly, but here you go: Calculator. If you need to contact me I do have a skype, I'd prefer to only give it when needed though. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you strongly consider me as even those awesome trainee guards. Thank you!
Before stone slabs were introduced, Notch ran a test on dirt slabs. They spawned on the surface like normal grass and dirt blocks, but didn't grow grass on top. I learned this awhile ago at the wiki --------->http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Slabs#Dirt_slab
I think the game went in a bad direction when they added strongholds (and possibly NPC villages). I liked the idea of spawning in a world all alone and you have to survive as long as you can! But when they added strongholds, they hinted at the idea that there used to be civilization and you aren't completely alone. It is still a good idea, but it kinda got rid of the original idea. Also, I was kinda upset that pigmen weren't in the villages and the "villagers" were there.
