Yeah, guys. I was trying to find a good seed and I noticed that a lot of them were really long and hard to memorize, and often involved having to tab-out between your browser and Minecraft.
Well, I can now confirm that you CAN copy and paste seeds into Minecraft. I haven't tried copy and pasting into a multiplayer chat, but it certainly works with seeds.
Obviously, you can't right click to paste in Minecraft so you have to use the CTRL+C and CTRL+V method.

(Also, can anyone confirm if this was an addition in the update? O.o)
I think what's causing the confusion with the title is the fact that you forgot a comma after "Better" so the entire title should be: "Better, then Buildcraft!"
This pack is stunning. However, I suggest adding a few alts. The sand could have a lighter alt because right now, I fight it hard to think that it's sand... However, this is one of the best packs I have seen and has it's very own style. :smile.gif:
Ha. You people have no taste in looks. My favourite block would have to be the half-slabs (mostly stone and wood). They look nice and stop mobs from spawning....what else could you need?!
Part of the mod. It may not be for everyone, but personally I prefer it and I wanted to throw something new in. If you want to change it, modify shaders/gbuffers_hand.fsh in your minecraft.jar and change the "0.7" to "1.0".
Like I said, if I can get 10 people on it at 12:00pm GMT (in about 2 hrs) I'll start streaming.
Basically, this is just an announcement. I'll have a look at 12:00pm GMT to see how many people are there, and if there are less than 10 people, I won't do it :tongue.gif:
So today I transferred all my Alpha world items onto a 1.0.0 world. I kept making new worlds 'till I got a good seed and at first I thought this seed was mediocre (I just wanted a semi-flat forest/island thing) but then I saw a crack in the ocean while building. I thought: "Hmmm...that's probably an underwater cave", so I switched to creative mode (using TMI) and headed down.
I ended up finding 5 ravines, four of which meet in a sort of "cross" pattern.
Intersecting ravines:
They go down to diamond level!:

This seed includes:
-A perfectly shaped lake
-A large forest island
-A desert and a swamp nearby
-5 underwater ravines which reach diamond level (4 intersect each other)
-Land which you can actually BUILD on lol
