sometimes NEI wont work if an item in the crafting recipe requires a damaged item like the (energy cell)? it probably cant be avoided because of a different metadata value
ok wondering why in this version steam turbines don't work like MineFactoryReloaded 2 7 5 Monster updated to MineFactoryReloaded 2 7 8 what changed and why the steam turbines where awesome and worked really well why are they disabled and if you say hook it up to a boiler i will smack you because for you to turn either biofuel or fuel is not really that well in calculations
it was a bug where it would accept ANY type of liquid as STEAM, this bug was fixed so now it will ONLY excepts STEAM as STEAM

I am unable to create the machine block in single player creative world in crafting table or in a crafting table on a server. I put in the Itmes:
Plastic sheet/Plastic Sheet/Plastic Sheet
Stone/Stone/Stone
The NEI will not show the recipe when clicked on in the NEI interface.
What am I doing wrong?
Are you using a modpack?
Does NEI even show the Machine Block is used in any recipes?
If you're using a modpack, then maybe the modpack creator opted to use alternative recipes such as an Unattuned Tesseract's instead of machine blocks
Of everything you said the most interesting was your mention of COFH core and having too many diamonds, my question is what the hell are you talking about?
probably meant how you can configure COFHcore to change ore spawn rates, its not a default configuration, but you can set it up like that. The technic modpacks Hexxit and Attack of the bteam have it set up like that to spawns lots of ores at all levels.
Multiplayer server has numerous missing ID's. How do I fix my server's problem since Singleplayer works fine with the same exact mod files?

Is this your own server? If it is, copy the chisel.cfg file from the config folder to the config folder on the server. If this isn't your own server are you sure the server is running the same version chisel mod? Your config file for the chisel mod needs to match whatever the server is running.
I've Found a pretty bad problem with your mod, if i use TMI or NEI the game starts to lag a little then it crashes.Fix it please. I love this mod but i might have to let it go i fi can't use TMI or NEI.
Edit: It also shows no crash report any were.
Edit 2: And also if you want i can take over PowerCrystals Mods, whenever you don't want to do this anymore. Most of my mods are old, because i haven't published or updated my mods anymore, but I'm thinking about updating them now. I Still know how to code in MC

Saying "Hey this doesn't work please fix" is not how you file a bug. You need crash reports, and if you dont have that (which you probably do, but YOU just dont know how to find them) then you provide regular logs!
I have serious doubts of your previous "I am a programmer" claim. Especially in that claim, you said chickenbones included MFR libs. Now I haven't looked in-depth into either mod, but im pretty sure Chickenbones doesn't include MFR libs, MFR includes chickenbone libs.
I wonder if there will ever be a block designed to automate the chisel process? I mean sure this does an entire stack at a time but unless I'm missing something I have to convert every block by hand.
Edit: Ore Dictionary support for all the block types that are equivalent should do the trick, then I can use my favorite oredict tool to mass convert blocks.

I tried updating my modpacks chisel mod with this new version, but got a crash. So I started up a clean instance with only the chisel and the required libraries, still got same crash.
java.lang.RuntimeException: No valid textures found for chisel block variation 'Grassy Dirt bricks in disarray' (Grass/bricks)
Would it be possible to make it so the drums capacity can be read using comparators? Also allowing them to be moved with pistons and openblocks or mfr conveyor belts?
I had this idea to make a filling factory with the drums being moved around on conveyors, but that came to a halt when I relalized drums couldn't be manipulated much, short of breaking them and moving them with pipes, which wouldn't look nearly as cool.

So why would you want to make this block?
This item is used for nothing in the Monster modpack, there is no reason to craft it.
